Hak pinches a singing end of his sleeve without even missing a beat in the song he's performing alongside Kang, "I had planned to alternate... but all things must have an end and this one shall end sooner than later." and readies a second Sonic Might Channeled Sound Blast for a full round before unleashing it once more; again using extraordinary spell aim to aim it around his allies where he can. Oddly, there is a smile on his face, as though he is enjoying this 'session' with Kang.
Perform check: 4 + 24 = 28 Damage: 76 sonic damage [DC 21 Fort for half still]

Irestil tumbles easily beneath the legs of the gargantuan Sphinx, but the creature's tough hide wards off the blow as he does so.
Thet tosses the second vial into the swarm, dispersing it for good. He then aptly manuevers his magic carpet into position.
The duo's performance seems to alternate in time, now it is Kang's turn. His channeled sonic might blasts the Sphinx partially, as a bit of blood dribbles down from his huge nose.
Ahmet-Mose damages the Sphinx with his shield of wounding, draining the lifeforce away with each blow.
Kuruanpu delivers three hard strikes to the Sphinx as well, further weaking Khubsheth.
Last, Hak attempts to channel his Sonic Might, but it disperses against Khubsheth's spell defenses.
In response, Khubsheth roars again, the extreme power a shock to all of those nearby.
Khubsheth looks to be in bad shape.
Everyone please make a Fort Save with your next post.

[Provided the Sphinx is not defeated by the time it is my initiative and since my waiting for other posts last time nearly got me ghosted...]
Hak sighs slightly, covering it with the music to all but Kang's trained ears and switches spells, using a Sonic Might Shout instead, again using Extraordinary Spell Aim and angling the cone so that it will miss as many allies as possible.
Perform check 10+24 = 34 DC 20 Fort save for half of 32 sonic damage, and to avoid being deafened for 3 rounds. Deals 61 damage to any crystalline or brittle objects in its area of effect (included Sonic Might, without Sonic Might it is only 46 damage to objects; Fort save applies for creatures, creatures may make a reflex save to negate damage to objects held). Fort Save (thanks Kiir for reminding me!): 16+9 = 25

Irestil slashes his blades into the dangerous Sphinx, stopping immediately should he show any sign of surrender or if he falls.

Fully engaged in the fury of battle, Kuruanpu shrugs of the Prophet's roar again, signals Minos to press the attack, and shifts his grip on the flail to deliver a more powerful blow. A high-pitched ringing noise goes off in the ears of all those nearby, deafening them completely as nothing else can be heard over it. The force of the roar itself paralyzes most of those who heard it in their tracks.
Irestil is the only one who manages to ward off the effects of paralysis, but is still deafened by the the Sphinx. His attack does little in the way of damage, but it keeps the Sphinx's attention.
Hak, Kang, Ahmet-Mose, Thet, and Kuruanapu are all stunned by the Sphinx's roar, unable to act or hear for the time being.
The Sphinx then tosses Ahmet-Mose back with a mighty blow, sending him flying ten feet away from the Sphinx.
Everyone but Irestil is paralyzed for 3 rounds. All members of the party are deafened for 8 rounds, which will affect bardic music and the ability to communicate.
Irestil, you may post alternating with my posts and we can hopefully get through all three rounds that everyone else is paralyzed by tomorrow.
Ahmet-Mose takes 56 points of damage from Khubsheht's Mighty Blow during the first round of Paralysis. He is tossed backwards 10 feet.
Kuruanpu, a roll of 1 on a save automatically fails, no matter what your bonus is. Otherwise, you would have made it.

Irestil makes a few attacks at the Sphinx, but makes no real effect (maximum damage of 10 + 1 fire seems to have no effect).
AC +16 (using all defensive abilities)
[ooc] I presume that the prophet here hasn't said anything in response, else there would be some sort of conversation going on here I think [/ooc]

[ooc] Just to clarify, well-trained musicians that play together require little aural capability to function. Most of the compatability is rhythmic. That being said, two trained performers that simultaneously went deaf would immediately switch to basic tendencies towards following a set rhythm expressed through body mechanics and mutual talent (especially at 15th level). I feel there would be no penalty on the bardic music since each of us can see what the other is doing and is experiencing identical effects simultaneously. [/ooc]
Kang punts for 3 rounds.

Suddenly Kuruanpu's ears are ringing. He barks once in pain and surprise and staggers to his knees in pain. Doubled over he grasps for the symbol of Anubis on his throne about his neck. If it is your will lord, I am ready to stand beside you in the afterlife.
[ooc]Joe, I think what he means is that in addition to being deaf we are also physically stunned and paralyzed as well, or I would be inclined to agree with you. [/ooc]

Kang's hands curl into tightened claw-shapes as they hover, no longer playing, over the instrument and a large frown creases his face as he goes rigid, otherwise, there is no sign he is paralyzed and deafened, he remains this way until the stunned effect wears off.
Hak also punts for 3 rounds.

Khubsheth first tends to himself, ignoring the sharb jabs coming from behind him. Only Hak and Kang notice that he is casting Heal on himself during the next round. Followed by this, he takes a large swing with his right claw against Kuruanpu, swatting him backwards and onto the ground next to Ahmet-mose. He then pounces onto the two bards in the next round, ignoring the slashing blades of Irestil, but the Minotaur manages to graze him across the flank with his thrice during the ensuing rounds of combat, dealing the sphinx small cuts as he does so.
Kuruanpu takes 47 points of damage, is launched ten-feet backwards and lands prone on the ground.
Hak takes 44 points of damage from a left claw and Kang takes 43 points of damage from a right claw.
It's not a huge penalty, but per the Bard class (which takes into account all of this about high-level musicians and such) Just as for casting a spell with a verbal component, a deaf bard has a 20% chance to fail when attempting to use bardic music. If he fails, the attempt still counts against his daily limit. They would give you a class ability at higher levels to negate this if they thought being a deaf muscian were as easy as being a non-deaf musician, even with years of training and very high ranks.
Everyone may now act normally, it is the 8th round of combat.

The moment Hak recovers, he immediately begins casting Cure Critical Wounds, either on himself (if Kang is still standing) or on his partner (if Kang has been knocked unconscious); reciting the spell entirely from memory as he is unable to hear himself.
5 + 7 + 5 + 8 + 15 = 40 HP cured; since all bard spells have verbal components, percentile 28% (should succeed?)
