[ooc] Question, just out of curiosity... would Heal get rid of the Con Damage from a Wounding Weapon? Also, from what the map looks like to me, I believe I can just 5 foot step and get to within melee range of the Prophet. My post will reflect that. Let me know if thats not right. [/ooc]
Ahmet-mose sails backwards through the air, landing hard on his back and struggles to his kness, clutching his head, his eyes blurry and his ears ringing. With his ears still ringing, he finally clears his head and is able to stand and get his bearings.
Seeing the beast has desceneded upon the bards during his time incapacitated, and seems to be healed a considerable amount, Ahmet-Mose moves to within striking distance, and attempts to recapture the enemies attention with a devastating series of strikes.
Attack 1 (Hammer): 20+25= 45 (Possible Crit) 6+25=31 To Confirm Attack 2 (Shield): 9+22=31 Attack 3 (Hammer): 20+20=40 (Possible Crit) 10+20=30 To Confirm) Attack 4 (Hammer): 17+15=32
Hammer: 2d6+14+1d6(Cold) (Crit: x3 & +2d10 Cold) Shield: 1d6+6 (+1 Con damage)
Damage 1: 2+14+1=17 (1 of that Cold) IF CRIT: 51+10=61 (11 of that cold) Damage 2: 2+6=8 (1 Con Damage) Damage 3: 10+14+2=26 (2 of that Cold) IF CRIT: 78+12=90 (14 of that cold) Damage 4: 8+14+5=27 (5 of that Cold)
Assuming all hit and all Crits confirm, Total damage is: 186 (30 of that Cold) + 1 Con damage.

Irestil continues to attack, with increased fury that can only be found through ret-con... and with the spinning blades of a dervish dance.
Attack 1: 4 + 20 = 24; Damage: 5 + 10 = 15 Attack 2: 15 + 13 = 28; Damage: 6 + 10 = 16 Attack 3: 5 + 8 = 13; Damage: 1 + 10 = 11
Attack 4: 15 + 20 = 35; Damage: 6 + 10 = 16, 1 Con Attack 5: 5 + 15 = 20; Damage: 2 + 10 = 12, 1 Con Attack 6: 13 + 12 = 25; Damage: 3 + 10 = 13, 1 Con

Kuruanpu staggers to his feat, realizing his time has not yet come. He also realizes their foe is stronger than he first appeared. It is time for a change of course.
Kuruanpu takes a step back and raises his hand. A black ray of necromantic energy shoots forth striking the revitalized sphinx.
Ranged Touch Attack: 19 + 15 = 34 -Enervation: 1d4 = 3
Minos continues to press the attack.
1st Attack Roll:11 - 3d6 + 14 = 21
2nd Attack Roll: 10 - 3d6 + 14 = 24

Irestil begins to spin his way across the sand, the exchange leavings a few bleeding wounds across the Sphinx's flank. Khubsheth roars in pain, turning to swat at Irestil, but the elf is too fleet of foot and nimbly dodges out of the way.
Thet fires another arrow towards the Sphinx, but finds shooting from the floating carpet more difficult than it appears. His arrow lands harmlessly in the sand and can be retrieved.
Ahmet-mose beats Khubsheth mercilessly, until the beast finally falls beneath his hammer, his internal organs crushed into a cold jelly.
Then, with his last breath, Khubsheth delivers his final prophecy and casts mass cure moderate wounds on the party. With an apologetic look, he dies. As his blood seeps into the sand, a stone door grinds open, revealing a staircase going down into the tomb.
"Poisoned pride once broke our pact. We bound the deathless and buried deep To wait for shadow’s bane. Two legs now walk where four legs failed, And Khubsheth’s blood will break the seal. The Cursed One waits, within. The Prophet’s Slayers are bound by fate To pass the test, complete our task, And break Ankharet's Crown."
Hak heals his partner, who then stands, now that the combat has ended. Kuruanpu and the Minotaur cease their attacks as well.
Everyone is sweating profusely and trying to make sense of Khubsheth's last words. The shade of the doorway offers a tempting respite from the heat, which is making it difficult to think clearly.
Khubsheth's final words trigger Hak's memory of a story he once heard regarding a deal made between the god, Set, and the Sphinx Queen Ankharet involving the use of very powerful shadow magic, which she then used to rule her vast empire, however, the details of the tale have faded from his mind with time as Sphinx lore is rarely told and often fragmented when it is.
Anyone who has taken damage heals 30 hitpoints from Khubsheth's Mass Cure Moderate Wounds. Kuruanpu still has the use of Enervate, as the Sphinx died before he could act.
You are out of combat and may act accordingly.
The post tomorrow will hopefully come in the early evening again.

The Prophet's last words echo in his ears, but Kuruanpu has work to attend to. Holy work. The androsphinx was a mighty creature in life, and it seems his intentions were noble. Even he must journey to stand before Anubis.
Kuruanpu commands Minos to begin preparing a suitable grave for the now shrunken corpse of the sphinx. As Minos does his bidding, Kuruanpu fetches his satchel, gathers the required components, and begins reciting the necessary verses from the Book of the Dead to speed the immortal soul of Khubsheth along it's way.

Thet flies down closer to his companions and takes out a pen and paper to write down what was said. He then searches for his lost arrow.

Ahmet-Mose shakes his head sadly at the death of such a noble creature, even if it did attempt to kill him as one of its last acts on the earth. He respectfully waits while a suitable grave is dug, and the death rites are intoned, before giving his companions a sweeping gaze. "Sounds like we have work to do. Shall we proceed?" And with that Ahmet-Mose disappears into the interior of the structure that just opened up, shield and hammer at the ready, prepared to face what might come.

Kang smiles and goes over to the dead prophet. "Even with foresight, the prophet chose to be killed. No fate is certain..." At which point he bottles a small portion of the creature's blood and pockets it. "Well, who said you couldn't have your cake and eat it too? Entrance, a cryptic foreshadowing verse, and a good fight!" At that he signals Hak (who he heals before they enter the crypt if he still needs it) to accompany him into the crypt.

The undead minotaur spends thirty minutes digging through the dusty red earth to expand the whole large enough to fit the entire sphinx's body. Afterwards, Kuruanpu reads from his book as the rest of the adventurer's stand to watch the ceremony in relative silence. A lone vulture circling far overhead turns to the south in search of another meal. Afterwards, the adventurers head through the stone doorway at the base of the statue. The corridor is a 20-foot-wide with a dusty staircase that leads down. The air is stale but refreshingly cool as you escape the sun’s harsh rays. The stairs continue at least a quarter of a mile, bringing you deeper into the bowels of the tomb. Finally, they level out into a 20-foot-wide corridor. It extends at least 60 feet before your feeble light source dims, although you can discern the shadowy corridor continues. The floor is dusty, yet the edges of flagstones can be seen. The ceiling is about 20 feet high. The walls to the left and right are covered with intricate murals. Four pairs of stone columns, each 10 feet high, create an avenue down the corridor. Their surface is etched with four runes set equidistant from each other. The tops of the columns don’t reach the ceiling. The passageway leading into the tomb is hewn stone, covered with dust. The passageway is free of debris and rubble.
Please list light sources that are currently being used. If anyone can see further than 60 feet in darkness, please let me know and I will include more area when I post the next map. Note that one view is from the side and the other is from the top. The black area is where your lightsources don't extend far enough to see. Also, please give me a marching order as well, including distances and such between members of the party.

[ooc] Sorry, I thought I posted yesterday, but I guess I just thought out what I was going to say and never posted. Not a big deal, it really wasn't all that important, to be honest, I didn't have much to add. [/ooc]
Irestil remains grim and silent throughout the proceedings, and proceeds in after all the others are inside.
Irestil guards the group's back, being fast enough to move to the front of the pack should combat start.
[ooc] I don't know off-hand if my swords emit light, so if I can, I guess at least one of them do [/ooc]

Does Hak recognize the runes? He points them out to Kang and tries to aid him in deciphering them (autos the check to assist). He also shares what relevant information he knows about the final words of the sphinx.
