Six of the falcon headed sphinxes on the second, third, and fourth row of platforms simultaneously leap off and pounce onto Thet as he approaches the door on the other side of the room, slamming into him with their bodies and then clawing and raking at him. He manages to ward off many of their blows, but many also pierce his defenses. He seems to be bleeding from a large number of wounds across his body.
Two of the falcon headed sphinxes in the first row of columns hold off on pouncing Thet and instead await his companions to enter the room.
The ram headed sphinxes in the back hold off on attacking, their wings slowly flapping as they take to their air.
As everyone else rushes into the room, the two Falcon-headed sphinxes which had held back pounce, but fail to pierce the defenses of the party.
Initiative Order: Irestil Thet the Tinkerer Eight Falcon-Headed Sphinxes Kang Xi Jia Hak on Fung Kuruanpu Two Ram-Headed Sphinxes Ahmet-Mose
Thet the Tinkerer takes 67 points of damage from the falcon-headed sphinxes attacks. I also need three fortitude saves.
Thet is approximately 110 feet ahead of the party, 10 feet away from the far door. Note that each square is approximately 10 feet on the map.

[ooc] What action is it to put a ring on? What size are the sphinxes? [ooc]
If it is a move action... I put on my ring of invisibility, losing my ring of prot, and go invisible. Then take a 5 foot step away from them.
If it is a standard... I take a five foot step and cast reduce person, it is a spell like ability. This makes me tiny sized. I also draw my dagger.
23, 26, nat 20 for fort saves.

Kang places a 20'x20' Resounding Thunder with Sonic Might on the 6 sphinxes around Thet. He will attempt to spell aim and avoid Thet. This round, everything in that space takes: 8d6 = 25 FORT save for half and not deafened. Spells have 50% fail in that area. Perform: 14+27=41 HP: 57/57 Spells: 4/7/5/4/2/2 Bardic Music Uses: 10/15
It lasts for 5 rounds, I'll just go ahead and write out the damages here: 25, 29, 37, 26

Kuruanpu moves up with Ahmed-Mose to support the fighter against the sphinxes oncoming onslaught, shield and flail at the ready. Minos silently lumbers to cover his flank.
If it appears that Thet has not sucessfully given the sphinxes the slip he will command Minos to charge into the fray in an attempt to draw away the sphinxes' attention.

Irestil runs down the hall as quickly as he can to catch up to Thet...

[ooc] If the "110" is a typo, since we only have 60 ft of pit hallway... Irestil moves in and through the sphinx's. taking up a defensive position... Full Defense, unless I can move and attack [/ooc]
EDIT: Sorry, it didn't sink in that they waited to move until he was at the far door. Irestil moves in to be as close to Thet as he can then. Moving through the Sphinxes with a fair amount of ease (Tumble: 38)

[OOC: The hallway is 60 feet long, the room beyond that is 120 feet long. He posted that he went ahead of you all to search the entire room for traps. Thus, you were all standing near the stone door while he searched the room. He just happened to be 110 feet ahead of you all since they did not attack until then. You can be a bit farther forward if you would like, but based on marching order, I assumed you were towards the back of the party and waiting for him to give you the OK to enter. If that is wrong, I will go off of what you post now.]

Out of nowhere, a stark naked goblin comes charging in. This creature seems to have no belongings except a Masterwork Katana. It's blinding 200'/rd speed is terrifying as it charges directly for Hak. The whole time it seems to be yelling, "BIRTHDAY! BIRTHDAY!! BIRTHDAY!!! BIRTHDAYBIRTHDAYBIRTHDAY!!!!" It continues screaming this in a surprising impressive voice for a goblin, and then full attacks Hak.

Apparently, despite the creature's amazing grace with said katana, it is incapable of striking Hak. It continues screaming "BIRTHDAY!" as its eyes glaze over with a red mist of pure rage. It attacks a few more times, since epic level goblins get a lot of attacks, and then runs off. It's misses seem to have carved into the wall, "Who would walk into a room with 10 sphinx statues?!" in beautiful cursive script.
