Arnik will move over and pick-up the necklace and then continue moving to the southeast.

Richard sighs, "As much as I enjoy the baser bludgening of these abominations. I fear this may take all night." He chuckles as he swings again looking more like a baseball player then a warrior. "I do hope that the others are doing well."
Attack:8+2=10 damage: (maybe) 7+1(holy)=8

Pierce will move around again, this time heading back to the southwest of his current position. Same restrictions apply, use your best judgement...

Angrimm moves further to the NE, if he sees an item, he will move to pick it up. If he sees an enemy, he will immediately turn around and head back towards the others. If he sees neither, he will moves 60' to explore NE.

"More of those plague walker things!" Pierce yells back to the others as he retreats.
Move to (4,9).
I would like to comment that I too am not exactly feeling the excitement. The idea is solid, but it is kind of getting old quickly.
Also, with only receiving 300 XP per kill period the levels are going to get significantly longer as we go. To the point where I know that I will not be able to keep up, and more than likely neither will a cleric. I would recommend a scaling of XP, but that all depends on if the game will actually continue...

*A giant pause button appears*
Yeah, I see what you guys are saying.
This is my first real attempt at DMing, so there's bound to be bugs in the works.
cOMMUNISM did give me an interesting idea for a version of this involving waves and 'bosses' in multiple areas, with breaks that better allow you to explore the dungeons. I might come up with better loot aquisition/weapon upgrade methods as well. And XP would definitely scale with each challenge.
If that sounds more interesting to you guys, then we could go ahead and let this die, then I could post a call-out for that later.

Whatever works for you Deej. I do think some revisions are probably in order, to keep things from getting stale. The waves thing sounds like it might work.
I really do like the concept behind the game though, its alot of fun.
Maybe you could do something like a Left 4 Dead kinda thing, where we fight in waves, and have to get from point A in the dungeon to point B (Without really knowing exactly where point B is), with waves coming every so often and X number of rounds of 'rest' inbetween each wave. Still with the refresh only when we level (or between 'missions'). And I kinda like the loot thing where we find it randomly. It promotes exploration, instead of just flat out running for wherever we think the exit is every time.
I dunno, just my .02.
