Leon's wall of lashes (because blades aren't involved) barely deflects the second attack. The club just scratches his whip arm, any closer and it would have cost him the bones in his arm.
Leon instead takes 56 damage instead of the full 100.

Juno has her sword continue her song of courage for her, and helps out Leon by running in and slashing at the giant on the right.
(rolled 10+ bonus of 10= 20 for 9 damage.)
[DM Hijack: because the post needed a little help for the sake of clarity. Nate, you're up. ] [DM Hijack 2: because Chrissy and I made a mistake. she was supposed to be attacking the right one. ]

The dragon hilted katana jumps into Corvinus' hand as he takes off toward the closest giant. His blade is held low and he is running on the balls of his feet with his weight leaning in. When he gets to the giant he moves to the right and brings his sword up with both hands to the inside of the giants right leg. If his swords hits it should cut deep into the femoral artery.

Glad that he had managed to deflect that second attack, knowing that the first one had hit rather hard, he decides to take it cautiously, staying in his current stance instead of his more reckless one. Cautiously he takes a step to the right and back some, weaving his whip in front of him, heading towards a spot where he can get flanking with Juno. Focusing his concentration he lets his whip lash out once, focusing more on retaining his mental concentration and retaining his abilities.
Summary: Takes a 5 foot step right and diagonal backwards, headed towards flanking. Used a swift action to regain his spent maneuvers (Warblade, giving me back wall of blades) followed by using a standard action, as per the rules, to make a single attack.
11+15-5(power attack)+1 song=21 to hit.
Damage= 1d6(3)+5(str)+1(Magic)+2d6(5+5=10) (vs. Evil)+5 (power attack)=24 damage.
Note to DM: You may assume that Leon will use Wall of blades to counter at least one attack of any directed his way. My attack roll for the counter is as follows. 18+15-5(power attack)+1(Song)=29. That effectively will equal my new AC for that one attack I block with it.

Tobias grumbles unintelligibly to himself[literally, he's just grumbling]
[Though he is not on the map, I believe there should be a Hell Hound on the far side of the left Giant from Tobias] The Hell Hound 5 ft steps and attacks: 16 + 7 bite + 2 flank = 25 (I am not going to assume he gets the inspiring courage, that is up to the DM) dealing 1d8 (2) + 3 + 1d6 (1) fire = 6 [my awe inspiring damage will shock you!!]
(The Hell Hound moves up to flank with Mathias (this puts him closer to a ?slightly familiar? creature and further away from the holy man, who while not necessarily meaning to work with an evil creature will still provide a flank against a creature he is attacking.)
[ooc:] As I am unsure of the exact dimensions of the map, I will state an if/else statement for Tobias' action.[/ooc]
[If he can get within touch range of Leon (who seemed to take quite a beating even with deflecting one attack) without being within a 5ft step of the giant's reach] Tobias moves up to Leon and spontaneously cast Cure Serious Wounds (3d8 + 7) 6,6,6 [that is kind of scary, for this character especially...] = 25 health back.
[Else] Tobias casts Invisibility and then moves slightly back and to the right (to stay within a single move of Leon even if he continues to move and flank, but still outside of the giants immediate reach just in case)
[ooc:] to explain in further detail, Tobias will act in the fashion of: The cleric doesn't want to be smacked like the whip wielder almost was, and will therefore stay out of range of the Giant's full attack, if this isn't possible, he will cast invisibility which will let him avoid attacks thusly...[/ooc]
[DM Hijack: You can get into healing range of Leon without being within easy smacking range of the giant. You just have to move into a clever spot to avoid it (namely by putting Leon between you and the giant), which I'll say you can without problems. ]

[ooc]Since me and Dave are going after seperate targets...[/ooc]
Cursing colorfully under his breath, the magister draws his rapier as he moves behind Leon, edging around the giant. A few deft finger flicks and several muttered incantations, and a beam of sickly purple light lances from his outstretched hand at the brute!
[ooc]Ray of Enfeeblement on Leon's target, with an ranged touch roll of: 6 + 8 + 1 (I.S.)= 15 (sacre bleu! that was horrible!). STR damage= 3 + 3 + 1 (I.S.)= 7. That should even things a tad bit.
Also, I move my full thirty feet to circle around the giant's northern side, staying 20 feet out.[/ooc]

I'll post my action as well for the sake of convenience.
Mathias closes the remaining distance necessary, stepping into a heavy, two-handed, full swing with the hammer into the giant in front of him. Holy fury surges into the strike as it goes, Mathias intoned litanies reach an audible level as he shouts out: "Dust to dust, amen!" as the hammer streaks towards the creature's chest. Bringing the large hammer around for a second blow regardless of whether or not the first fells the creature, the second aimed at it's skull.
First blow is a smite 'evil', attack roll: 14 + 13 + 4 = 31 to hit (smite), damage roll: 7 + 7 + 5 (smite) = 19 damage.
Second blow is a regular swing, attack roll: 12 + 8 = 20 to hit, damage roll: 5 + 7 = 12 damage.
That is all.

A slash from Corvinus, a stab from Devin, and a smash from Mathias finally drop the giant. The paladin's second strike smashed the monster's skull right as it hit the ground.
Meanwhile, the other giant has been taking a number of minor hits. It seems to be shrugging off most of the damage that has been inflicted upon it. Renald's spell seemed to weaken it somewhat, but this doesn't make the monster hesitate one bit. The giant continues its attacks on Leon. The first swing was deflected as the lasher's whip wrapped around its club and yanked the weapon off course. However, the giant breaks free of this quickly and lands a solid strike on Leon's chest.
Results of the round! Left Dusk Giant has been slain! Right Dusk Giant seems to be in moderate damaged condition and pissed about it. Then again, it's pissed at the party already, so this is hardly any change. Leon gets hit for 37 damage, since he could only defend against one attack.
Round 3, FIGHT!

Still leaning his weight in, Corvinus bounds toward the remaining giant. He arcs across the battle field, gaining speed and power for his next attack. He moves into position, giving Leon flanking, before striking. Using all of his momentum and power, Corvinus thrusts the sword up under the giant's rib cage.
[ooc] I use bounding assualt, which counts as a charge. I move behind the giant to give Nick flanking. 14+13+7-9=25 to hit 5+6+7+1+1+6+4= 30 dmg

Smiling like a rather insane person at this point, Leon switches his weight to his other foot slightly, changing his stance and rearing his arm back, coiling the whip in mid-air expertly before sending it straight into the Giant for a dead on, all for nothing, game ending strike... or so he hopes, before ripping it around and slashing into the Giant twice more just for good measure... weather it fell from the first one or not.
[ooc] Changes stances to Punishing stance (+1d6 damage, -2 ac). Power attacks for 5 Crack of Fate (-2 to all attacks, +1 attack (AKA rapid shot for my whip)
20+15-5+1(song)+2 (flanking)=33 (Auto hit, possible crit) 10+15-5+1+2-2=21 to confirm
1d6(6)+5(str)+1(Magic)+2d6(5+4=9) (vs. Evil)+5 (power attack) + 1d6(3) (Sneak attack because of flanking) +1d6(5) (Stance)= 34
If Crits will do an extra: 1d6(6)+5+1+5 for sure. (17)
Not sure if the Holy damage (2d6=5+4=9) or the stance (1d6=5) get doubled or not. Can I get a ruling on those for future reference? because I'm really not sure if things like those multiply on crits. I know the sneak attack wouldn't. Not sure about maneuvers and things..
2nd attack 14+15-5+1+2-2=25 to hit Damage: 1d6(4)+5(str)+1(Magic)+2d6(3+4=7) (vs. Evil)+5 (power attack) + 1d6(6) (Sneak attack because of flanking) +1d6(4) (Stance)= 32
3rd attack 16+10-5+1+2-2=22 to hit Damage: 1d6(4)+5(str)+1(Magic)+2d6(1+5=6) (vs. Evil)+5 (power attack) + 1d6(3) (Sneak attack because of flanking) +1d6(6) (Stance)= 30
Final Damage count (Assuming all 3 hit, assuming the crit WITHOUT figuring in doubling the Holy of the stance): 113

Tobias blinks, surprised by sudden assault that sprang forth from the whip wielder in front of him. He quickly recovers his wits... he turns to the Hell Hound [Infernal]"Get over here... you have yet to make yourself useful..." He commands the Hell Hound to come and wait while his group collects themselves so they can continue on... (The spell will last another 13 rounds, it may come in handy to keep it around for another minute or so...) More likely than not, the Hell Hound will move to Tobias' opposite side from the party, partially to guard its master from further outside assault, but equally likely to avoid the strange companions that its master chooses to travel with.
"Are you alright, Leon?"

Leon's attacks drop the giant. BTW, the crit did not connect. It just hit.
[ooc] Will edit this later when I'm not half awake and frying my brain by re-reading Transmet. Or maybe I'll just post again and delete this. Fuck if I know at this point, but I figured it would be a good idea to tell you that yes, you did kill the other dusk giant. [/ooc]

Staring at the fallen Giant in disgust he calmly cracks his whip once, coiling it into his hand. Taking a deep breath he lets it out all at once in a sigh through his nose and then sags slightly, his left side hanging lower than his right. His shoulder his visibly torn up from where the giant caught him with a powerful swing, and anyone paying close attention can see him wince ever so slightly whenever he takes a particularly deep breath, probably from broken ribs from the second hit by the creature he took in the chest.
Turning his head he looks at Tobias and smirks. "Well, I'm better than I have been, but worse than I could be. I wouldn't turn down some of that healing magic of yours if you can spare some. If you can't, I understand, and will manage."
