Ssorthisz sets his feet down as his flight wears off, and rolls his eyes at his companions' impatience. It may be true that matters are urgent, but rushing is not always the best answer. His companions have already asked all of the pertinent questions on his mind, so he simply waits for the native to respond.
He also takes a mental note that the local 'laws of nature' are governed...bureaucratically...here. He pricks himself with his blade and watches if it heals, then activates deathwatch. His flight was working when he arrived, so it seems as though at least that power works as well.

Seeing Ssorthisz prick himself, he too finds that to be something of..interest. Reaching to his belt he pulls a dagger out of the bag that hangs there. Pricking his hand idly while he waits for the gnome to answer his teammates concerns, he watches to see if it heals. He then also closes his eyes, checking to see if his surroundings are still as clear as usual to his blindsense.

"These creatures are my brothers and I. Of course my master can too. The warrior is somewhere out there." He points in a broad direction indicating he could be anywhere. "You lot amuse me. I'll have to keep my... eyes on you." A large smile plays across his face and with a loud pop he vanishes. The pedestal he was standing on fades from view and reveals a five foot diameter tunnel leading down.
Bacnex flies across the circle from Salazraen and while keeping an eye on him searches the surroundings. He turns and in a shaking wavering voice with a poor attempt to mask fear he has for his life he says, "W-Well, what-what are you are waiting for, g-get moving." He then acts like he is contemplating something while eying Salazraen.

Kale doesn't wait and simply starts heading down the tunnel.

Dhelmar's form morphs quickly into that of an attractive cherub-like human. His fey wings fully open and he springs nimbly forth from his stone platform towards the center that was previously occupied by the gnome. His body gracefully twists through the air and then does a backflip into the hole on the dais, disappeaing from view. Thamuz's impish wings struggle to keep up as he flaps furiously. He spews forth curses at his master, but obligingly follows him into the unknown.

As you all descend down the tunnel opened in the floor, you quickly find it ends in a room round in nature, about 30 to 40 feet in diameter. Three simple looking wooden doors are the only other thing in this room besides the tunnel. Each has a simple handle and key slot.

Salazraen looks around for Bacnex, and if the imp is present quickly points a finger that begins to glow with eldritch energy: "Okay, We get that We are on a need to know basis, and ya know what little imp? We need to know just what the hell it is We're looking for. If We are going to only get a name for what We are looking for, We are going to open a gate to Mezocane or some other layer of the Abyss and go do something worthwhile. For all We know these 'discs' could be the very foundation of this world or they could be smaller than copper pieces. So. Spill what you know before We spill your guts."
If the imp is not present Salazraen tries calling out to get him to appear, if he still fails to appear, Salazraen just huffs and then nods and says aloud: "Yes. Definitely take care of that later."

Though the quasit's body remains invisible, his scared stuttering voice can heard from somewhere in the room. "I know very little about this object. What I do know is it should be about the size of a small trunk or chest. A rod slid through a hole in the center of several disks. That's all I know. Now g-get moving! Time is of the essence." Bacnex tries to sound commanding and intimidating with the last part of his little speech but fails miserably. If you spend more time looking through books, you find nothing of importance. Just worthless scribblings and lost memories.
One door still remains unentered. It is a hallway, about 50 feet long, made up of the same stone that makes up the whole tower. At the far end is sits a simple wooden door, the same as the one that leads to this hallway.

[OOC:] I don't know about everyone else, but I don't know what exactly has happened between entering the large room and now. A RECAP perhaps? [/OOC]

[ooc] My sincere apologies to everyone but life has become rather time consuming and I will have to put this game on hold. I do intend to start it back up again, I put to much work into it to just abandon it. It may be a few weeks though. Again my apologies. [/ooc]

Nate, can we get Blood Wars started again sometime soon? Probably a decent-sized recap would be nice too.

The gnomish creature was of little real help, being only useful when he disappeared leaving a hole for the party to descend. The room is made of the same dark stone everything looked like it was made of and contained three doors. One only opened to the outside. The second was more interesting. Sorack opened it, revealing a goblinish creature sitting at a desk scribbling something. Upon seeing the intruders, he looked utterly disgusted and quickly grabbed the door shut. When the same door was opened again it was a large room. The room was filled with books on oddly uneven shelves and a single dretch floating back and forth putting books in random spots. The dretch little more than looked at you before continuing on with its work. You take some time looking through the books but find only useless drivel. Meaningless memories of creatures lost to entropy and time. After thoroughly checking the room you move on to the next and last door. A long hallway sits on the other side of the door with another door at the end. Though you take all the normal precautions in moving and examining everything they end up being unnecessary. As quietly as possible one of the group peeks out the door into the room which it leads. This new room is descent sized and is in the shape of a half circle. On the curved side, seven other doors decorate the wall all of them of a different make and type than the ones you have seen. The flat side contains a set of double doors big enough for Kale to walk through with ease. The doors are made of a golden granite stone and have gold handles and hinges. On either side of the door stands a pair of iron golems. The stand silent and patient and have not noticed you. The door is only big enough for one of you to comfortably fit through at a time, especially Kale.
[ooc] I’m sorry for the long wait. My computer has been having problems and my life has been incredibly busy. But I finally found the time and drive to update. Sorry for the push but I wanted to get you guys to a part that was interesting. If you have any questions IM, post, or PM me. If not have at it![/ooc]

Ssorthisz walks down the hall after returning from outside, wondering who opened it.
Upon seeing the iron golems in the room, he ducks behind the door frame, sword drawn, and waits for the rest of the party to catch up.
[OOC] I'm pretty sure that was Dave who opened the door, but with epic hide/move silently. Also, 14 hide for ducking behind the door [/OOC]

My best guess is that we entered on the curved side, and that there are either seven other doors or seven doors including the one we entered through. I'll also assume that the door we are entering the room through is the one that is small, since that final sentence seems to have been displaced. As for Kale's actions, he will wait for others to go first if they wish, but if nobody can decide on a plan he will eventually become annoyed and simply charge forward despite the lack of space.

Hovering near Kale's shoulders, Dhelmar surveys the scene with bright eyes and his full lips curl up into an innocent smile. He whispers encouragement to Kale, pushing him to enter the room and be done with this place sooner rather than later. He moves up and behind the minotaur so that his feet are roughly shoulder height and waits for him to enter, casting the spell truesight, by uttering a few simple notes in a long forgotten melody. With his new found vision he prepares mentally for anything they may face in the room.
