Andrezi looks quizzically at the mismatched pair that stand at odds with each other, trying to understand what is going on.
He looks at the tall Ulfen man and speaks in the harsh yet lyrical speech of Skald, "What has happened? what did he do?"
Waiting for a response, he looks for other students that are around and might know what has happened.
[ooc] For those that don't know or don't remember, Skald is the native language of the Ulfen [/ooc]

From inside of Sabatto's room, two voices are suddenly heard. After a few moments, the door to his room opens and a tall man walks out, wearing robes that look alot like the robes that the faculty was wearing earlier, followed by Sabatto, his head hung down as he shuffles behind with his feet dragging. The man looks around and finally settles on the confrontation between the new student and the large Ulfen man.
Focusing his attention on the large Ulfen man, the official looks at him. "Is there a problem here? You are looking for someone to take charge of this youngster? I can handle that for you. If that is everything you needed of course Sir?" Assuming there are no objections, the man turns to the new student. "You can put your belongings away in there." The man points at one of the still empty rooms. "And if you cause any further trouble.... well, lets just say you won't be happy with the results. Do i make myself clear young man?"

Hakner stands. "I wasn't causing any trouble. I was trying to get to my room, but the guards didn't seem to believe me when I told them I'm a student. So I set them straight. He (gestures violently toward the large Ulfen man who clearly restrained him earlier) didn't listen to me either. Everybody needs to step down a little around here." He turns from the faculty to Ingrid's father. "And you need to leave me alone."

The Ulfen man, Njal, makes no move, violent or otherwise, and his expression is neutral. "I simply stepped in where I felt necessary. I am content to leave this young one in your charge."

Izkrael steps out of his room directly adjacent to the stairs and stops to watch the scene for a second or two. "When did you two show up?" Talking to Sabbato. "I have been in my room this whole time and I did not hear you come in." The elf crosses the room in their direction. "Sir, I mean no disrespect. I just didn't notice either of you..." Suddenly, just in front of the faculty member the elf trips wildly throwing his arms out for the faculty person to catch him.
[ooc] I lay claim to the room directly to the right of the stairs. I also make a 23 on my bluff to make it look like an accident. [ooc]

Sensing the tension, Neila paws lightly at Andrezi's leg. In response, he bends over and lets the cat jump up into his arms.
Andrezi walks forward slowly while he continues to address the large man changing back to Taldane, "what did he do that made you feel it was necessary to step in?" And he turns to watch Hakner carefully.

Njal, Ingrid's father, turns to Andrezi. He greets him quickly but courteously in Skald and then returns to Taldane. "This young one was giving the guards trouble. I merely stepped in to assist and was informed that he belonged here." The man heaves a long-suffering sigh. "Really I must return to my wife. She is awaiting my return below." He turns to the school official, "If you feel that you can handle this young one, I put him in your charge and I shall take my leave."

The official steps smoothly to the side, as the young man cartwheels wildly towards him, letting the student fall to the floor. Looking down, a haughty expression on his face, the official shakes his head. "My comings and going are not any of your concern young man. If you must know, I came with Sabatto here earlier to discuss something with him, and we have been discussing it in his room since then. Just because you didn't notice, doesn't make that my fault."
Brushing a speck of unseen dust from his robes, the official then looks around, focusing once again on the Ulfen man. "I thank you for your assistance sir, and I will be certain to keep an eye on this student. For now, I can assure you that he does belong here." Turning back to the new student he nods to a room. "Get your stuff stowed and get settled in. I'll be back to check on you in a little bit. And the next bit of trouble that I hear you get into, you will be punished severly." Turning to look at Sabatto, the man shakes his head sadly. "Remember what we talked about, or we'll be having another of these visits."
With that the man walks out the open door, past Andrezi, and further up the stairs, presumably to other business higher up the dorm. Behind the official's back, Sabatto finally raises his head and sticks his tongue out at the man's back.

As the official walks to the center of the room, a pounding akin to stone on stone is heard from the stairwell.
"There is ta be no fightn within the towers. Stop now or I'll wallop ya!" A Dwarven woman that many of you say earlier today comes barreling through the door and hefts a glowing waraxe in two hands in front of her.
She glares harshly at the Ulfen man (not sure if he left yet) and sweeps across the room. Stopping at the official, "Sanos? You causing trouble again?" She lowers her axe, noticing that there is no immediate violence. She then glances at the stumbling elf and gnome who is concentrating on the ground.
"What is the meaning of this?" she growls at the gnome.

The elf easily corrects himself before falling to the ground and steps to one side. He swiftly casts Detect Thoughts while standing in such a position that only the "official" can be within its effect. He grins wickedly and bows low, "My apologies sir. I did not mean to question you. It must have been my poor observational skills." He turns to the dwarf and bows low in respect.

Sabatto will stay with his head bowed, dodging questions with a look of humbleness until the Ulfen man has gone. (PLEASE Make sure you read both Situations, and apply what Sabatto does based on Which of the situations is happening! This is an IF this: sort of situation, as I am not sure if the Ulfen has left yet.)
Assuming that the Ulfen man has left, or leaves shortly after the Dwarf shows up: (Which I'm not entirely sure on either???), and since apparently the 'official' never left the room before the Dwarf got here, Sabatto will look up and shrug, the 'official' standing there casually brushing his robes off...again...and again...and again...."Itseemedthebestwaytodiffusethesituation.thebigulfenmanseemedtobetryingtohurtthestudentthereandIdidntwantanyonetogethurtsoImadetheillusionoftheguyfromearlier..."
Suddenly Sabatto will turn and glare at the elf. "Thatisuntilthiselfguyheredecidedtobargeinandtrytoruinthewholething! What, didyouwantthebigguytobeatthecrapoutofourclassmate?? OrareyoujustSTUPID?"
Turning back to the dwarven official, Sabatto will bow, and his speech suddenly slows down significantly, as if he is trying to keep himself from talking too fast. "My sincerest apologies if I was out of line, but I was only trying to help, as I didn't know how fast someone could be found, nor how fast they could get up here."
If the Ulfen man has NOT left, as stated earlier, Sabatto will stand there and look innocently around, until the Ulfen man leaves, and then does the above.
If he does not seem to have any intentions of leaving anytime soon, like he is waiting for the Dwarf to leave then this happens instead.
Sabatto stands there, his head down meekly, and the Official that the dwarf addressed as Sanos will smile at the Dwarf. "No no, nothing of that sort. I was here with Sabatto there, and heard the commotion. It sounded like someone needed to step in and handle matters, so I intervened. From the sounds of things, that Gentleman there" the Official motions to the Ulfen man "Has done us a favor by helping the guardsmen with this unruly student. And while I don't condone the violence he did, I can understand why he thought it was necessary. My apologies if I have stepped on any toes by intervening where I was not wanted, but I thought it best that someone intervene, as I was not sure how long it might take for someone else to found or get here."
[ooc] Please let us know if the Ulfen man has left yet or not, so that I can edit out what did and didn't happen, or at least say at what point the Ulfen man does/did leave. Thank you. [/ooc]

Andrezi stays off to the side and quiet, waiting to be addressed directly or if there is anything he can clear up directly. For the most part he simply waits for clarification, still not understanding what has happened.
Neila seems unconcerned and simply rests her head against Andrezi while he pets her.

[ooc] HEY!! If you aren't in the room, or time has not progressed sufficiently for you to be present for whatever is going on, PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, DON'T POST! It gets the time frame all muddled up, like we have here. I personally don't want to have to sift through and still be left wondering who is where and when. I have played in plenty of online games where characters got so out of sync that some of them started repeating days. Please let's keep things in some semblance of order here. I'm sorry if I am coming across as being irritated or bitchy, but messy timelines are DEFINITELY something that I'll go out of my way to be irritated with. Thank you. [/bitchfit]
After the dwarven woman's entrance and declaration that everything was under control and would be handled accordingly, Njal will politely take his leave.

[ooc] I'm sorry if things get messy when everyone wants to be involved on the action. I can't really retcon anything at this point. The only out of sync action was that Sabatto was in his room and (to me atleast) made things interesting, though forceful. Was there some other inconsistency that I missed? [/ooc]
