The area is mostly flat tundras, cold and harsh but nothing you aren't used to, living in the area. A few trees dot the area, but they are mostly short and gnarled.
(And I wasn't so much waiting on you as I was waiting on Communism. I merely listed you because the last post (by Ben) had been directed towards you asking your name (since they were doing introductions.
And yeah.. i know... havent seen hide nor hair of dave in a while..)

In that case Dio will just sit on a spot nearby and watch. Somewhat distant from the others, staring off against the horizon, looking at the mountains in the distance. [Noted for Ben directing something towards me, next time I'll post: "Dio doesn't reply" ]

"I can take second watch. unless there is some objection?" Barely waiting for an answer Cedrich sets about building a small shelter with a dugout fire.

Before Leaving: Kin will wait patiently for a response at first, but will not move on without at least something to call the 'quiet one'. "We need something to call you," is his initial response. "Common courtesy dictates that you at least tell me a name to call you by, as we all have given you one for ourselves"
[ooc] And with enough time (A lot) it will escalate even to him pulling one of his pistols, placing it to the man's lower jaw (at an upward angle), and asking him if he would simply prefer to be "brains on wall". This is primarily for humor, as I doubt he will be that stubborn... And yes, next time it would be nice to know that you don't respond, since in my post, I said that we could move on. In my mind this assumed you at least gave a simple response if no further clarification was given. [/ooc]
For Camping, Kin will agree to whatever is decided, but will state a preference for the final watch. If there are no objections to this, he will set out his bedroll and supplies and sleep.
[ooc] This is the reason for the long description of how he slept in his room. Apart from booby-trapping the room, which, given the option he will try to set up a perimeter around camp, he will set his gear in roughly the same way. [/ooc]

[OOC: Just a couple of brief things I wanted to point out. He would not have answered the door for breakfast when he was in the process of donning his armor and praying, he would have simply tuned out whomever was knocking. Secondly, I am still not sure why you were waiting on me to post there. I reread all of the posts and did not see anyone directing any comments to myself and I had already mentioned in my last post that he was ready to leave.]
Angrimm offers to take the first watch of the night, sitting near the fire with his warhammer across his lap polishing the ornate weapon with care. After the end of his watch, he carefully begins to remove his armor, taking time to polish it before settling into his bedroll with the warm blanket.

[ooc] And I quote, Communism, from one of my posts after you returned to the bar, since you went to the bar instead of to the meeting room.
And I'll give you that you might have turned him away that morning, however if you do things like that I would appreciate knowing you do so, instead of pretending like I didn't post at all and going on with your day. Work in the fact that you ignored the knock on your door, or something.
It just bothers me because I get the feeling you aren't even reading my posts at all, not saying you aren't, I'm just letting you know the feeling I am getting off of all this. [/ooc]
The night passes uneventfully. In the morning, your group resumes their travel towards the mountains. 3 hours after leaving you reach the camp site marked on your map. In the camp is a pair of men, human, sitting around a low burning camp fire. There are 4 tents in the campsite, as well as a few other things you would normally associate with a longstanding campsite such as cookware, overturned logs used for chairs, and the like. Upon entering the camp one of them looks up at you and smiles, waving as he gets up to come greet you. The other hardly even looks up, just goes about sharpening his weapon.
"Greetings folks, you must be the ones sent to clear the caves out. You have the look of adventuring folk. My name is Rojos, and that over there is Masema. Don't mind him, he's not very talkative. Good to have around though, I'll tell you what. The others are in the cave doing a bit of exploring. Should be back soon. You gents need anything, or have any questions before you get started?"

Cedrich glances around the camp looking for the familiar signs of the Border Patrol. Satisfied that these are who they were suppose to meet up with he half smiles. "I am sure we are all anxious to get into the caves. I don't suppose you have a map of the areas you have already scouted we could go over and plan a bit. No sense double scouting a known area."

[For Earlier] When pressed and threatened with the pistol Dio simply smiles, "So you will go this far. Interesting. Call me Dio."
[For Now] Dio approaches quietly, nodding to Rojos and Masema before speaking, placing a hand on Cedrich's shoulder to pause his comment: "No need, whatever map they have we can add our own on top of it for comparison. Making a map is our job, no need to take a shortcut. Besides, if the caves have changed at all, we'll need to simply redo the map anyway. I am ready to proceed when everyone else, please, lead the way. Oh, and if you know of any traps or unusual monster activity, share it as we move out if you would please."

[Earlier] The stern face Kin had while pressing Dio for his name lightens slightly. He gently snaps the cock back into place and replaces the safety lock, "I refuse to work with someone I can't trust. But obviously I can trust you to keep your head under pressure..." He smiles slightly and slaps the man on the back. "Come, we should be on the road."
Present. "Whatever we decide is fine with me. If I weren't ready, I wouldn't have left yet." Kin stares blankly at the group. [ooc] Seriously, lets get on with something more than walking around... [/ooc]

[ooc] I'm sorry if Character interaction, Roleplay, and the general necessities of a D&D game besides combat bore you Ben....[/ooc]
As you guys more forward into the cave system, You pass two others on their way out. They barely nod to you and keep moving. Rojos suddenly calls out to you guys from behind. "Good luck folks, you'll need it!"
Upon entering the mouth of the cave, which is only five feet wide and five feet tall, the tunnel moves forward 15 feet, widening slightly, until it suddenly opens up into a much larger cave. The cave disappears off into the distance in every direction (Except back of course). Let me know what kind of light sources you have, and how you are proceeding forward.

"Watch Guyll Fyr," commands Angrimm of the two men as he dismounts his steed at the edge of the camp. He waits for one of the men to take the reins and picket the horse at a nearby tree before he is satisfied. He eyes the opening of the cave, knowing that he can see easily in the darkness. Turning to the others, he says before they enter, "Stay close to me in the caves. I won't have you three wandering off and getting yourselves killed."
At that, he unslings his tower shield before they enter, the bulwark of it protecting them from any unseen danger. The light glimmers off his highly polished battleplate, casting a menacing sillouette from the two lifelike stone dragons inhabiting his pauldrons.

[ooc] Yes, because I don't care at all and that's why I made sure to roleplay out the conversation that happened that you glossed over... I'm just tired of trying to focus on things that don't seem all that important and I want to get to some actual crunch, that doesn't necessarily mean combat... [/ooc]
Kin pulls out a sunrod and gives it a sharp strike against his leg to activate the chemicals and shed light. He then attaches the rod to the under-barrel of his rifle along with a small metal cone to prevent the light from distracting him and giving better illumination to those that he is aiming at.
"Just keep your head down, and I'll be sure to avoid hitting your especially wide target..." Kin already appears to be scanning the area for threats and targets, hardly paying any attention to what the cocky dwarf does.
Once sure that there are no threats in the room, he pulls out a piece of parchment and a shard of charcoal. Carefully resting his gun down on his foot (safety latch securely in place), he uses the light he attached to the barrel so that he can see his work lit from below. He makes sure to mark general shape, passages, and sizes, mostly in short hand, not expecting this to be the final draft in any way. After finishing, he tucks the parchment into his belt, and trades the charcoal for a piece of chalk, and quickly draws a circle on the right hand wall (as we entered) of the tunnel they entered from.
"Now, I say we pick a wall for now and stick to it. Splitting ourselves up is indeed a quick way to get us all killed." He motions to the left-most passage with his rifle, "I favor my right, so I vote we go along the left wall..."
[ooc] How many exits were there from this room? You just said many in all directions... [/ooc]

Cedrich shrugs "Which ever is fine with me you two seem intent on driving this ship so drive. I can see in the dark so I will take up the rear and make sure we don't get snuck up on." He unslings Warwolf and carries it nonchalantly at a low ready. He will watch around the party focusing his attention behind but being careful of the fact that a light source while allowing others to see works both ways.

[ooc] They aren't not important at all, and were we face to face these 'not important things' would take no time at all. But they take some time when playing on the forums. And I didn't so much gloss over it as I got sick and tired of waiting on posts (I gave 6 days for you guys to get that done before I moved the story forward).
Oh, and as stated before. The cave disappears in every direction past your line of sight.[/ooc]
The light sources help, a little, but still give you very little to go on. As far as anyone can see (Light sources or Darkvision, Both of which are going to get out to 60 ft) the cave goes that far and further, disappearing into darkness.

Dio withdraws his everburning torch, securing it in a holster on his shoulder so he doesn't need to carry it. "We can follow a wall. One way or another we know we at least shouldn't get lost, considering we're making a map." he chuckles to himself, as though the idea of becoming lost would actually entertain him.
[OOC:] Both of y'all shut up and chill out. Jeeeez. Some post confusion, some "do I need to post" confusion, some preference for "Major Beefy Storyline RP" and "side-story RP"; but who cares? Just play! Could be worse, you could be having to sit and watch your own games not move too![/OOC]
