Appearance: To the well trained eye, those who recognize the dangers of black powder, this man is a walking arsenal, or an explosion waiting to happen depending on how you look at it. He proudly carries several Flintlock weapons, a pair of pistols and a well-cared for and treasured rifle. The pistols while well maintained are obviously of secondary importance, and close inspection shows that one of the pistols is actually a standard issue of the Attero Border Patrol not a primary weapon of a marksman of his caliber. Beyond his weapon's, Kin carries himself with confidence and drive almost to the point of blocking out those around him.
Really, apart from his mannerisms and choice of equipment, Kin is fairly average looking. Dark hair kept short to avoid mishap in combat, green eyes, and tanned skin from his time spent outside on patrol.
History: An early recruit to the Attero militia, Kinteren Lanis, or just "Kin" has lived his life strictly to the code laid before him. Chosen early for his exceptional focus and marksmanship he has been trained for solitary missions meant to take out targets quickly and without error. Following his orders to a fault, Kin has distanced himself from his emotions, leaving him cold and unsociable. His one quirk, is his refusal of magic. Few realize this preference because of his normal mannerisms, but Kin tries to avoid magic at all cost, preferring to rely on science rather than mysticism. Luckily, his alchemy has yet to betray him, his almost obsessive tendencies keeping his use of black powder and flintlock weaponry safe.
