Craft Reserve: A reserve of XP that can be used for Crafting. Gain some at each level of artificer.

Item Creation: Can create magic items even without the pre-req spells. Must make a UMD check (DC 20+caster level) to emulate each spell normally required. (EX: To make a 1st level Magic Missle wand would need to make a UMD DC 21 or higher.) Must make a successful check for each Pre-req.
Retain Essence: Salvage XP from Magic items. Takes 1 day per item. Must have appropriate Item Creation feat for item being salvaged. After one day the item is destroyed and the artificer adds the XP it took to create the item to his craft reserve.
Extra Levels: The Soldier Elite gains an extra number of available Mako Level slots to use for slotting Materia equal to their level in this class times 2.
Shape Materia effects: This works like the Mastery of Shaping ability of the Archmage class except only for Materia abilities.
Channel Mako Energy: The Soldier Elite can, with an exertion of will, use the raw power of nearby Mako Energy to power his Materia for use beyond their normal limits instead of using his own stored power points. With a Will Save, DC 15+Level of the Materia to be used, the Soldier Elite channels enough of a nearby Mako Source to power that Materia for one use. This is used as part of the act of activating the Materia. The Mako source must be powerful enough to channel the Materia being used, and this energy is used up in the process, depleting a large Mako source of sufficient power to channel it. Amount of nearby Mako energy and number times it can be used before being depleted and needing to replenish itself (if connected to the Life stream) is up to DM discretion. Warning: If a
natural 1 is rolled for this check, the Soldier elite draws too much energy from the source and is subject to possible Mako Addiction as per the rules on that, as well as the Materia not being charged for its use.
Crystallize Mako: The Soldier Elite can, with an extreme force of will and skill, take pure raw Mako Energy and Crystallize it into useable Materia. The Soldier Elite must succeed on a Will Save, DC equal to 20+ two times the level of the Materia to be made. If he succeeds he must then succeed on a Shape check equal to 10. This will allow
him to shape Mako energy into the desired (or appropriate) Materia and crystallize it in an 8 hour period. The higher the shape check, the less time it takes. Every 1 over 10 he gets allows him to Crystallize it in 20 minutes less time, at a minimum of 20 minutes (for a maximum of DC 49 to make it in 20 minutes).

Lower Materia Cost -1: The Soldier Elite acts as if all Materia were considered one level less (to a minimum of 1) for all things determining cost to himself in regards to Materia (Mako Points to use beyond normal, number of available levels for slotting, etc.)
Piercing Materia: The Soldier Elite has learned how to best make his Materia work against those resistant to its effects. He adds his HD as a bonus to the Caster level check for bypassing SR when using Materia. In addition to this, he automatically knows how good every materia he sockets is at bypassing SR. This lets him know the Caster Level of any materia he has in his possession that has been socketed.
Hot Swapping: The Soldier Elite has become so adept in the use of Materia that he has learned all the intricisies involved in slotting and unslotting Materia. As such he may swap out materia at a quicker rate than normal, taking him one Swift action to do so. All further materia swapped out in a round take 1 move action.
Materia Augmenter: The soldier elite has learned the intricasies of Materia and how they work. This ability gives the Soldier Elite the knowledge of how to work with certain rare materia's such as All, x2, x4, Double-cast, and Final Strike just to name a few. This ability lets him full knowledge of these strange and rare materia, including the knowledge of how they are created. In addition this ability lets him equip doubles of the same materia at the same time without suffering any harmful resonation effects, so long as they are not slotted into the same item slot (No putting two thunders in your armor; but one in your armor and one in your glove is fine.) and no more than two of the same can be equipped in this way.
EX:"All" materia: When used in conjuction with another materia the materia will cause the cojoined materia to affect all targets that the user wishes it to affect that are within 40 feet of the Target point of the cojoined materia. No target may be selected more than once.
EX: Cureia is cast on the user himself, while cojoined with an "All". He may select any number of other targets within 40 feet of himself for the Cureia materia to affect as well.
Ex2: Thunderia is cast on a goblin within range of the materia, while cojoined with an "All". He may select any number of other targets within 40 feet of the goblin for the Thunderia materia to affect as well.
Crystallize Materia Force: The soldier elite has finished mastering the ways of Materia. As such the Soldier elite can now attempt to negate and crystallize any materia blasts directed towards him. A number of times per round equal to his Dex modifier the Soldier Elite may attempt this feat. If the Soldier makes a Reflex save, DC 15+ two times the level of the materia being used, the Materia is negated. At this point the Soldier may choose to make a Shape check, equal to 25+two times the level fo the materia being used. If he succeeds the force of the Materia is caught as it passes and crystallized instantly into a weak form of the materia. The Materia made by the use of this ability is very fragile. It acts as a one use version of whatever materia it was collected from. This ability also uses up one Mako point per level of the materia being cast to use, as it takes extra Mako to solidify the Mako Essence of the materia into a new materia.
Master of Mako: The soldier elite has learned to Manipulate Mako to the point of mastery. The Soldier elite is capable of using any Materia, even those restricted in some way. Nothing is beyond his grasp. Ontop of this, With a bit of concentration and alot of skill the Soldier can manipulate nearby sources of Mako, pooling them together to make a larger repository, covering the Soldier's enemies thereby causing them to possibly have Mako Addiction, and pulling the Mako from enemies and items. All these are put examples. With a successful Shape check, DC set by the DM, the Soldier elite can do nearly anything involving Mako. Examples:
1: With a successful Shape check, DC equal to the number of Mako points the repository is worth divided by 5 (rounded down) the Soldier elite may move it to wherever he pleases, for all intents and purposes he shapes it into a large sphere and telekinetically moves it from place to place. Once connection is established it requires a move check each round to maintain and the sphere can be moved up to 50 feet a round. Dropping this in another repository combines the two, and dropping it on an enemy may cause Mako Addiction.
2: With a successful Shape Check, DC 25, the Soldier elite can, as a standard action, Take a piece of nearby Mako energy and form it into a small sphere which then will fly toward and attempt to strike a target of his choosing (Ranged touch attack to hit). If it strikes the Mako will infuse into the target, giving it 2d4 Temporary Mako
points and causing it to Immediately roll a check against Mako Addiction (albeit a lesser form). If Mako addiction occurs in this manner the addiction lasts a number of rounds equal to the number of points given, these points deteriorating away in a like number of rounds. Note: the Points only only disppear at that rate if Mako addiction occurs. Otherwise they last for 1 hour and then vanish if not used.
