Aliases: Scourge General Alexander, Dread Knight Alexander, Seeker of Power
Race: Death Knight (augmented human)
Classes: Knight 5/ Warrior of Darkness 1/ Blackguard 3/ Warblade 1
Alignment: Lawful Evil
Occupation: Undead General, Dread Knight, Exarch of Vrtra, scary evil guy with the damn nightmare and the undead flanking him
HP: 120
AC: 33 (29 FF, 15 touch)
Appearance:
You see large, well built man of 6'2" in pitch black, blade covered full plate with a full helm covering his face and a black cloak on his back. A dark gray tabard cover the front of his armor, displaying the crest of Vrtra. The helm itself has a stylized crown built into it, and the eye slight is covered in black wrought iron. In the rare event that you might actually see him without the helmet, you’d see a deathly pale man in his late 20's with shoulder length white hair and dark eyes. Runic tattoos and scars cover much of his body, the results of dark rituals. He is constantly seen carrying his halberd. If he doesn't have his halberd, it's because it's currently lodged in somebody skull.
History:
This is the story of 3 brothers, of three knights who fought in the Great Game of dragons. All three once aligned themselves with Hungran, the Dragon General. The eldest - Wardes, the middle – Zoken, and the youngest – Locke. In their 5 years of service, all three became Exarches for the dragon. But then something happened.
A week before a major battle, a mysterious robed man came before the youngest and handed him a great spear. The look in Locke’s eyes changed once he took hold of it and walked off with little to say. Over the week, he was doing strange rituals, like cleansing the spear in holy water. This confused his brothers greatly. On the day of the battle, Locke charged into the center of the battlefield, many foes following him into the center. He charged with such speed that his allies couldn’t follow. Nobody quite saw what happened to him then (or at least nobody alive). A massive bolt of energy crashed down upon the center of the battlefield, right where Locke was. The resulting blast left a crater and slew many. There was no trace of Locke Alexander.
Weeks later, the eldest brother, Wardes, left the service of Hungran to defend his homeland. And thus Zoken was left alone. His mind wandered into dark places, and eventually, he physically wandered into even darker places. It was during one of these wanderings, a month after Wardes left, that he encountered one of Vrtra’s exarches, the Dread Knight Roberts. The two knights fought, and Roberts stood victorious. Zoken asked his foe for his name. “I am the Dread Knight Roberts,” he responded, "You?”
“Zoken Alexander. Despite my defeat and humiliation, I must admit, it was a great honor to fight you. It is my only wish that I could’ve fought you as an equal instead of as a lesser man.”
“Do you want the power?”
“Power? Yes, I wish for power.”
“So be it.” With that, Roberts plunged his blade into the heart of Zoken.
When Zoken Alexander woke up, he was no longer alive. But he wasn’t dead either. It didn’t take long for a necromancer to explain to him what had happened. Roberts had requested that Zoken would be resurrected as a death knight and to be put under his command to be tested for his loyalty and skill. Within a month, Zoken had already proven himself by capturing a minor horde of Hungran’s. As the years passed, Zoken racked up a series
of minor victories in the name of Vrtra. He had re-awakened as a man, a new and cruel man. His zeal was almost unmatched by the undead queen’s exarches at the time. And when the Dread Knight Roberts finally fell in battle, Zoken Alexander took up his mentor’s mantle and became the next Dread Knight for the Dragon of Dread.
Other notes:
He is constantly flanked by several undead minions. He commonly rides into the battlefield on a nightmare. As a knight, he perfers to charge into battle instead of use ranged weapons (partly because of his shitty aim, but mostly because he's just better with charge attacks).
