James never said anything about it, but if there is a rule about it ok. I'll wait and ask james. Guess I might have to lose Imp. Critical. lol.

Actually, the cap on flaws is 3 last time I checked. Of course, James can change that if he wishes.

You can have up to 4 flaws as long as they are backstoried appropriately. Expect to be horrendously exploited if you take large amounts and also to be less favored by Vrtra as a overly flawed creature is not generally one a haughty, queen-bitch of the undead will want serving her so much so. For the sake of convenience I'm going to encourage you only take two, but if you truly must have more (maximum 4), just backstory it well. As far as HP... maximum at all levels. You'll need it >

Appearance: Standing roughly 5' tall Ii'llidar Shi'ile, more commonly known as simply "Shadow", is fairly common in appearance for his kind...Of course his kind is the Shadar-Kai so he tends to stand out in a crowd on the material plane. With the tatoos and symbology native to his kind etched across his skin, he becomes rather noticable. This, of course, is when he is in his own form. His most common guise is that of a human of the same height, with medium length black hair pulled back in what is known as a Rogue's knot. He generally wears a long sleeved black coat trimmed in a deep, blood red, over top of short sleeved silk shirt in a red and black pattern. His pants are solid black, and he wears black soft leather boots. Although not exceptionally strong or resilient looking, this belies the agility with which he can move, him and his blades never being in the same spot twice, disappearing during the blink of an eye.
History: Ii'llidar, like most Shadar-Kai, grew up on the shadow plane, learning the basic skills taught to all of his kind, of stealth and fighting. After learning what there was to learn, he found he had a natural knack for stealth and thieving, even more so than most of his bretheren. Taking up this path, he embarked to learn the trade of the rogue. Quickly, he learned to love his trade, thriving and loving the adrenaline rush gotten from stealing unseen into somewhere he wasn't allowed. Even more enjoyable was learning how to efficiently and quickly kill. At his first opportunity, he took a bow and began aiming for the kill points on the target. Oddly he found his hands to be unsteady on the bow, the tension of the string pulled back causing his hands to shake visibly, throwing his aim off severly. After being ridiculed, he vowed to stick to melee, figuring it would be more enjoyable to kill when you could see your opponents face up close. Since then, he has had a slight trembling to his hands whenever he goes to do anything ranged, even throwing a dagger, unconsciously telling himself he isn't any good at it, and therefore is actually worse at it. Unfortunately for him, being slightly insecure about his inadequate ability at ranged combat, he compensates by being overly aggressive in melee, allowing him to quickly pummel his enemies to death, but causing him to leave himself open from time to time to a quick eyed opponent. Quickly after all this, he got bored in the shadow realm, and joined a friend of his, a mage several years older than himself, on a journey to the material plane.
Luckily for the both of them they had traveled at night...unfortunately the dawn was less than an hour away, and they were unaware of this fact, finding themselves in the middle of nowhere. When the sun did rise...oh how their eyes burned from the searing light of the sun's rays, pounding down on them from above, harsher than anything they had experienced before. Stumbling to some shade, the took what refuge they could, until finally the day ended and night took over. His friend, the mage, quickly determined to return to the shadow plane.. Ii'llidar, determined, stayed on the material plane.
Travelling only at night, spending the days resting, he quickly found his way to a city, which turned out to be Telflamm. He quickly found an abandoned building to stay in during the day, venturing out at night to find what he could. Finding it a simple matter to steal into various buildings and take what he wanted, he did so, loving the thrill...and then it happened.. he got caught.
Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, for him he was caught merely by a young child being in the right place at the right time. In an effort to keep his bumbling a secret he killed the young boy. Having never killed another sentient being before, he found the thrill of killing to top even that of stealing. Hiding the body, to hide his own bumbling, he quickly fled the building...The next day when he ventured out, they were waiting. Leaving his small room he stepped into the night, to find himself surrounded by masked figures, attempting to cloak themselves in the night, his natural vision piercing the darkness and allowing him to see them quite easily. Unfortunately for him this didnt make much difference, as they outnumbered him at least 10 to one. Being beaten to a bloody mess, although not killed, he awoke to find himself in a small room, made of stone with seemingly no door.
Through the wall walked a tall man, dressed all in black, with short cropped black hair and brown eyes. This man had a sort of presence, as if the shadows of the room bent and twisted around him, befuddling even Ii'llidar's vision. "So.. you are the rogue thief who defies us and steals from beneath our noses." What followed was to be the most agonizing torture session Ii'llidar had ever faced. After the interrogation was over, having apparently not found anything out that would point towards him being a threat to their organization, they released him seeing his natural talents to be a benefit to them (As he had elluded them for several weeks after they started searching for him), and offered him a position in their vast network of thieves. Quickly agreeing (Although still simmering with hate at these humans who would dare treat him this way), he found himself a part of a rather vast, and powerful organization, the ShadowMasters of Telflamm.
After several years of working as an member of this group he finally found out what it was that made the leaders, especially the one who had first interrogated him, so much different. They were Shadow-walkers, the great ShadowLords of Telflamm. The leaders of this vast organization, and powerful beyond the reckoning of most men. Ii'llidar was not most men. Saving the funds, he went and had himself inducted as a Shadow-walker by a cleric of Mask at the temple. Then, while still working as a member of the guild, he secretly began watching and learning the abilities of the ShadowLords.
Many more years passed, with many successful and a few unsuccessful breakins and assassinations under his belt, he found he had learned seemingly all there was to learn from these so called "Shadowlords" Realizing he could do what they did, and seemingly much better due to his natural affinity with the darkness gained from being from that plane, He determined to take over the guild and show them who a true ShadowLord was. But first he would have to kill their current leader, the man who interrogated him, the man known as Shadow. Watching him for several days he determined his routines, his patterns, which the man seemed to stick to.
When the day came he approached the man, a dagger hidden up one sleeve. Approaching he bowed politely, as one usually does to a superior, before straightening and plunging the dagger to the hilt into the mans stomach, aiming for the spinal cord.....or so was his intent..unfortunately for Ii'llidar, Shadow had just that morning pulled a dagger from an enemy and, in his haste, pushed it into his belt near the front. Ii'llidar's dagger tipped off of it, allowing Shadow just enough time to slip sideways out of the way of the plunging dagger. Cursing his luck, or rather unluck, he quickly stepped back and began circling the man. The man known as Shadow, laughing at the pathetic attempt, contemptuously drew that very same dagger and began circling with Ii'llidar. After circling for a good thirty seconds, the two, seemingly as one, rushed each other, daggers extended in thrusts...Both finding each others chests. Staring at each other, slowly one of their hands slipped off of the dagger, the eyes beginning to glaze over..Ii'llidar, severly wounded, stood over the now dead body of the leader of the guild.
Days passed and, unfortunately yet again for Ii'llidar, things didnt go quite as he had expected. After adopting the title of Shadow, and taking the man's shortsword, his signature weapon which Ii'llidar had long ago learned to wield to good effect, he proclaimed himself leader of the Shadowmasters....which didnt go over well with the other ShadowLords. After quite a bit of arguing, they finally gave in....only to attempt to have him killed the next day. Waking suddenly to find a dagger in his chest, he blinked a few times before suddenly disappearing, his body flitting off into motes of darkness. The ShadowLords then took back over the guild, knowing him to at least be defeated. That day at sunset, Ii'llidar reappeared outside of the town. Disgusted at the humans he stepped into the shadows, pulling himself into the shadow plane temporarily, to travel quicker, determining to go elsewhere on the material plane, to find others to kill, and treasure to steal.
Materializing on the Shadow plane he suddenly found himself grabbed by a pair of NightStalkers, great beasts of the Shadow plane. Looking down on him one of the says in a grating voice. "Malassa would like to speak with you." Before hauling him away, and bringing him back into the Material plane...standing before what seems to be an image of a dragon, black as night, shifting with the shadows. In what quickly became a defining point of his life, but one about which he remembers very little, he remembers being told she had enjoyed his work and abilities, telling him that he would now employ them for her, offering him great power, and many thrills. With a smile on his face, he remembers looking at her and thinking. "Wow...How stupid... To think she can order me around." Before suddenly disappearing, reappearing several hundred feat away, before suddenly disappearing again, this time to the shadow plane, and taking off running.
After hours of running, being chased by a pair of NightStalkers, narrowly avoiding their clutches, they suddenly peel off, as if afraid to enter where he had entered. Wondering, he ended his spell reappearing on the material plane, and found himself at the entrance to what seemed to be some sort of catacomb or crypt....stepping inside he found an odd chamber, with 8 pits filled with bones. Walking up to one he casually runs his hands through the bones. Realizing it is an illusion he looks down before driving a piton into the ground, tieing a rope, and shimmying down, finding himself in a room nearly identical to the one above. Dropping nimbly to the ground next to the pit that was below him, he looks around. After exploring the room to the northeast, and getting caught stealing by some ghost who tells him vague things about something called Vrtra the Queen of Death, he continues exploring the complex, next heading south. As he enters a room filled with corpses yet another undead abomination of sorts appears behind him, tossing him some sort of medallion when he says he would like to speak with Vrtra. Being teleported to a very dark chamber he has a long, rather interesting conversation with a pair of eyes. After the conversation is over Vrtra is apparently intrigued enough to make him her servant...and Shadow is just in her debt enough (For getting rid of the Nightstalkers) that he agrees. After spurning a female vampiress as his escort (in an attempt to test his boundries) he is escorted around and shown the place by some strange creature she calls her "son". With that, Shadow became a Servant of Vrtra, and has been since.

Since the game hasnt started yet i took the opportunity to change a few things that I thought could be improved upon.
Added a Flaw (Vulnerable) And edited a section of my backstory to explain it. Removed Oversized TWF and EWP: Elven Thinblade (Changed both my swords to Shortswords).
Added Martial Study (Shadow jaunt), Martial Stance (Assassins Stance), and Shadow Blade into my new and now empty feat slots.
Changed the enchantment on my blades from ShadowStrike to Shadow Hand.
