The rough cobblestones leading towards the crooked half-tower were treacherous by the light of day, but even under the waining moon, Beric knew the way. The Cyphermages worked in many of the way places, hidden grottos of knowledge in Riddleport. His destination, a tower cell with a single desk on which rested a black bound book etched in platinum. He read the book every day at dawn, although every attempt for the past four years had yet failed to reveal the secrets hidden within. He clambered through the heaven wooden door, the illusary ruined appearance receding beneath his muffled footsteps to reveal a well-maintained sanctuary. He climbed for what seemed like ages, until finally he had arrived at the solitary room where he trained. As the dawnlight crept through the solitary window, he opened to the first page and began the quest for knowledge once more. The passages were long, their meaning elusive, and he struggled with the half-finished thoughts and odd translations he had scribbled into the margins in the early hours of days long past. The area around the tower was always deserted except for those few Cyphermages that studied within its vast interior, but today Beric heard a faint melody drifting upwards. The notes caught in his head and soon after he found himself humming along quietly to himself. As he continued to read, the words in the text blurred and began to rearrange themselves. Not daring to stop, he continued the tune, but the minstrel had since passed before completing his song. Not knowing the final verse, he stopped and so did the transformation.
He fled down the stairs of the tower, and shielding his eyes against the morning sun, he began to search for the wandering minstrel with the key to his admission into the Cyphermages. He did not find the bard that day, but he began to frequent every tavern, music hall, and ampitheater in an attempt to once again hear the enchanting melody which had come so close to unlocking the secrets he had spent long years of his life attempting to decipher.
The song, he later found out, was not usually sung, but played on the wood harp. It had taken him three additional years of searching, listening, and learning to uncover the exact melody and to play it for himself in that small room in the half-ruined tower. His spirit though, was not in the discovery of ancient knowledge any longer. The tasks given him by the Cyphermages were uncomprehensible and often lead him to the feeling that he knew now less than when he had started.
He began to contemplate his future, his desires, and his destiny in that small chamber where he often worked. He began to compile a manuscript of legends and began to venture out from Riddleport in search of information. In time, he found himself in Sandpoint, a small town that was celebrating a festival of sorts. This festival, it was known, occasionally drew forth those who were reclusive and carried with them knowledge on certain topics that Beric was searching for. Thus, he found himself not in the midst of the wisened, but bloodthirsty goblins. Not trained in the martial aspects of study, he found himself overwhelmed by their tenacity, and retreated to find hearty companions with which to travel in safety while he researched for his manuscript.

A note on the changes I made.
I looked at his background a bit and decided to worship Cayden Cailean and take the travel domain. I think the previous background and such will still be appropriate, including his current motivations. I also took the rich parents trait and the changes in equipment are noted on the character sheet. I switched his longsword for a rapier (Cayden's favored, which he is proficient with) and I used the money from the trait to purchase a longbow, which I will consider a gift from his sect of the church for passing his rite and earning his freedom from the studies. The background tale was basically meant to show him that knowledge was not found by staring at books, but instead by exploring the world -- learning of its cultures and celebrating life. I assume he left all of it at the inn until he thought he would need it, as he often travels incognito posing as a bard.

Traits: I would have expected you to take the City Born trait, but if you don't want to, I won't make you, it isn't as necessary as it would have been at the beginning of the game. Otherwise, the traits should be fine and you handled the Rich Parents trait fine.
Skills: Go ahead and list your Knowledge nobility bonus as it is different from other Knowledge skills despite not having a rank in it (from your Child of the Temple trait). In addition, you should lower all of your Knowledge skills by 3, your Monster Lore ability only applies under certain circumstances. Because of this you can add "Conditional Modifiers +3 on Knowledge checks to identify creature abilities and weaknesses" to the end of your skills. What is giving you a +1 bonus to Bluff checks? I believe your bonus should be +4 since you have no Charisma bonus.
CMB: I believe your bonus should be +2, 0 BAB +2 Str. You may have inadvertently added your Dexterity to CMB which is incorrect. Dexterity applies to CMD but not CMB.
Abilities: You added the +10 base speed to your movement, but forgot to record the Agile Feet ability you receive from the Travel Domain.
Normally, the Special Abilities is used to give further explanation to the abilities you list in your stat block. Your abilities should be placed as follows: Judgement 1/day -> Special Attacks Monster Lore -> SQ (Special Qualities) Agile Feet -> SQ
Otherwise, everything seems alright with your updated character
