Mechanical Advantage
Item: MysTek Pistol
Break down: Base damage of 4, Range 100m, ignores armor < or = 12, ignores force field < or = 8.
Description: Mechanical Advantage, as Allen likes to call it, is a MysTek pistol that fires large Caliber rounds in a Revolver Style handgun. He generally only turns to it when other options have run their course.
Aim Assister
Item: MysTek Bracer of Accurcy
Break Down: +2 to ACB with Ranged attacks
Description: This bracer is made of a thin metal, and is almost more of a wide bracelet than a bracer. It has a smooth round green gem set in the center of it, which shines with a dull inner light whenever the wearer is using a ranged weapon.
Fullplate Trench
Item: MysTek Trench
Break Down: Gives an armor Rating of 8.
Description: This lightweight trenchcoat looks very used and weather beaten. The unique feature of this trenchcoat, is its Defensive capability. Whoever wears the coat is protected by a layer of armor, even in areas that the trenchcoat doesn't cover. Where the Trenchcoat does cover, weapons are seemingly stopped by the Trenchcoat, causing the coat to ruffle as if it had been disturbed by the attack. In other places, weapons simply stop in mid air, mere centimeters from the body of the wearer. Those with keen eyes will notice a mild disturbance in the air around where the weapon hit, as if invisible clothing had been ruffled by the attack.
Mystek Belt of Body
Item: MysTek Belt of Body
Break Down: Increases the weares Body Stat by 1.
Description: This MysTek belt is made of a dark metal, with small studs all around in a double ring. The Belt seems to make those who wear it stronger, tougher, and more agile than they would be on their own.
_____________________________________________________________________HISTORY
Allen was raised on the big city life, in the Heart of the Lantalon Empire in the southern reaches of the world. The lights, the noise, the hustle and bustle of trade, all were his constant companion. His father was a carpenter, a sturdy man of values who worked his entire life to provide for their family. His mother stayed at home, supplementing his father’s income by sewing clothing to sell at market. He had a fairly unassuming childhood, helping his father occasionally, but mostly playing with his friends in the streets, dreaming of a life of adventure, like all young children.
At the age of 20, he was drafted into the military and assigned to one of the air units…. Which worked very well towards his dreams. Over the next several years, he worked for the military, working his way first through flight school, learning to pilot the large airships that dominated the skys. Through flight school he constantly ranked at the top of his class in all the practical studies, spending all the time he was allowed in the practice craft, while only barely managing to pass the non-practical side of his studies. It was commonly known that if you wanted to find Allen, you looked to the sky. At the end of his studies, he was assigned to the 27th Air brigade of the Lantalon Empire, and assigned to patrol their borders. Several years passed with many other assignments creeping forth, until finally, at age 26, he was able to leave the military with honors, having amassed enough points to be discharged honorably, with the rank of Captain of the Sky when he left. When he returned, he found his parents had died in an accident while he was deployed, some of his mother’s textiles having caught fire from a spark from the fireplace in the night, and burning the house down around them.
With years of flying experience under his belt, and the love of flying ingrained in his bones, Allen hired on as a private contract pilot for several different agencies over the years, leaving his home country to travel the world. Cargo, passengers, private military flights, he had done them all. He widely became known as one of the best pilots available, and many people would pay good money to have their important shipments flown to their destination by Captain Wade, his reputation for never missing a deadline well earned.
After many years of travelling the world, having found several pieces of MysTek in his travels that had really intrigued him, he finally ended up settling down, if you could call it that, and joining the Gate-Keepers Guild. With a loan from them, he was able to purchase the ship he wanted, Wind’s Maiden, Wind for short. His military status had afforded him the needed experience to get the guild to allow him to start his own team. Still currently working off his loan from the GkG, he works for them, exploring MysTek ruins with the team that was partly assigned and partly chosen. His luck held out in a few aspects. His mechanic is the renowned Izzy Forland, the genius with a wrench responsible for the speed that his ship is capable of. His Security Liason, appointed by the GkG, is none other than the wielder of the famed Dracula Mk I., Javad Baraiz. While only with the GkG for a few months, and with this crew about the same amount of time, they have explored their fair share of ruins, doing well for themselves and earning they pay, though everyone is still getting used to each other. And somehow, even in the small amount of time they have been operating, he seems to have gained the ire of the captain of the Ebon Fang, Cyrus Thane. Regardless, adventures await the newly formed Red Hand, and the winds blow favorably for its Maiden….lets hope they stay that way….
