_____________________________________________________________________HISTORY
Javad was raised on games of thought. His dedication to tactical planning and tenacity for logical thinking put him on the radar of every military institute and intelligence organization. At the end of his college career, Javad was offered several positions in tactics and logistics for the most highly regarded armed services, agencies, and the Gatekeepers Guild. But despite the obvious appeal of all these careers, they uniformly lacked the thing Javad craved most. Action.
Javad's late father was the great explorer Derek Baraiz (formerly 'Drek The Soulless'). He was Javad's childhood hero even more than most sons idolize good fathers. Even despite his absence, Javad studied his father's journals and notes, gleaning the experiences and fatherly wisdom/lessons of the subtext. Several years before Javad's graduation, his father vanished leaving only a letter. This letter changed Javad's life forever.
Contained within the letter was a map and a note. The note read, "For the day you take your place in the world…." The map led Javad to a small grove outside of town. Buried under one of the trees was a crate. In that crate was the legendary weapon of his father, the Dracula Mk. I. Only one was ever made due to the unnaturally high caliber and lethality.
Craving a life of adventure and danger, Javad applied to the Field Ops department of the GKG. The GKG, however, was only aware of his value as a tactician. It was assumed that he lacked his father's combat prowess and dauntless ambition, until Javad showed up at the trial test holding the Dracula. Javad passed the combat, leadership, tactics, insertion, extraction, and written aspects of the test without a single mark against him. The GKG slammed Javad with paperwork (much of which attempted to confiscate the Dracula) for two years before he finally located a loophole that allowed him to work in the field. Insulted by his insubordination, he was assigned to a relatively new team… as security… given their most troubled and volatile Ops Insertion expert.... He is grateful to be in the field at last.
