The gist:
You have agreed to the challenge of surviving for six hours within a magical dungeon. This dungeon will release endless hordes of the undead upon you. There are no entrances and no exits; you will be teleported in at the start of the night, and you will be teleported out after it ends. Your task is simply to survive.
The Rules:
-Starting Level is 3 (or equivalent)
-Stats are 36 point buy.
-HP are max at 1st, 1/2 HD +1 after that.
-starting gold will be 2000
-All WotC content is acceptable (I still reserve veto rights, though)
-I will be using a coordinate system to determine location. This is largely to help me keep track of people if they choose to split up and move to different areas. You will be teleported in either at (0,0) or as close to it as possible. An example of a 5-foot step would be: I move from (-1,0) to (-1,1). I will try to post a bitmap image of the area for a visual aid. If the group splits or someone can see parts that others can't, individual views will be given to those players.
-XP will be awarded each turn to all who contribute positively, through kills, healing, or other actions. Those who contribute more will be rewarded more.
-Upon leveling up, all HP, spell slots, and uses/day abilities will be reset. There will be situational exceptions, such as uses/day items: if they change hands, it doesn't reset until all PC's who used it level up.
-Teleportation anywhere within the dungeon is possible, but don't even think about teleporting out;epic magic prevents that.
-Items are placed at random locations within. They will range anywhere from +1 weapons, to rings, minor wondrous items, all the way to...say...a holy avenger or something. Though most are randomly determined, several are not, and I have ensured that nothing is useless crap.
