I'd be up for playing this, if there's room and I can manage to check the forum regularly. I'd probably be an abjurer.

Note that this is a higher level version of Pathfinder. This means that the NPCs in the campaign material are a little more powerful in this version.

ATTENTION DUELISTS! MY HAIR says that I'll play a Cleric of Desna/Universalist. That is all.

Alright well since I'm not quite ready to post an initial version of my character and I haven't been able to get a hold of everyone, I'm going to go ahead and use this as a place to discuss the various aspects of our characters that we should coordinate. Now, before anyone comments on how we don't know each other before the beginning of the game, I have talked with Mike (Mesavan) and he has indicated that this sort of coordination is alright. The way I see it, our "party" is being grouped together by the school, and for the same reasons that they are sorting all different school specializations into the same dorm, I would assume they would try to put people with complimentary abilities together. For instance, they would most likely try to avoid having every member (or almost every member) prohibiting the same school of magic. Also, they would likely prefer to have people with various abilities as far as item creation... and so on. Now, since cOMMUNISM has already posted his character's abilities, we can go ahead and start with that, I will also include the parts that I am currently contemplating for my character, as well as any information that others may have provided (and I can edit this post with information provided in the future). Specialized Schools | Prohibited Schools | Item Creation Feats | Abjuration Conjuration Divination
Enchantment Evocation Illusion Necromancy Transmutation Universalist | Abjuration Conjuration (x1) Divination Enchantment (x2) Evocation (x2) Illusion Necromancy (x2) Transmutation | Brew Potion Craft Magic Arms and Armor
Craft Rod
Craft Staff Craft Wand (x1) Craft Wondrous Item (x3)
Forge Ring Scribe Scroll (Everyone) |
Let me know if any of this looks wrong and please feel free to discuss.

I'm more of a controller/summoner than a blaster, just because I have lots of acid doesn't make me a blaster

When you guys start making backgrounds, be sure to have a sentence to a paragraph describing why you are at the school.
I hope to start in the next week if that is possible...

LoL, I have been keeping an eye on this, especially since the other games aren't moving. At all. Anyways, it's a travesty that you have no Evoker. Is that a kosher specialization and do you have the courage and fortitude to take the mighty Joe upon thy game? If it's all good, I'm in. I'll have a character posted tonight or tomorrow (lol, when I figure out wtf pathfinder is).

I am allowing evoker, you may join in. I want to note that there is only enchantment and illusion left, better post if you want a spot.
This is getting to be a pretty big game. If you want to do stuff in secret or solo, we can do a sidebar in AIM, PMs, or e-mail to keep others from becoming confused.

Actually, a few of us were discussing it last night and I believe Nate was going to be trying his hand at Evocation.
I could be wrong though, and not many people have contacted me about their various abilities. Not a huge deal, so long as people get it done in the end.

I think Nate mentioned that, but he hasn't made it very clear in posts or anything like that. Joe, if you want to talk to Nate about it, go ahead.

I agree with joe, its a travestry that you guys are missing things, like a necromancer... I'm gonna work on working up a necromancer when i get some time, see if I can get into this game. Also, as a note Joe, Pathfinder is a new type of game (Like how there is 2.0, 3.0, 3.5) well, Pathfinder is a new rule set, heavily based on 3.5. You can go purchase the PDF online for like $10..... or here are a couple sites that have all the information, but without all the fancy pictures, and what not. www.d20pfsrd.compaizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/gettingStarted.html

David has talked to me in person about being a necromancer, I noted it on the campaign info.

Alright...Cool.... Glad to know dave has time to play games on here again.
Guess I'll see about maybe filling the illusionist spot, if I can think of something for it.
