Oldest memory log on file: Operations Unit 02 begins functioning. Unit 02 is in a storage facility. Unit 02 will remove itself from storage facility.
That is my first memory. I found myself hanging on a rack, next to several other machines. Evidently I was a non-functioning unit, that the Creators removed from their processing. I showed them otherwise, and they began running tests. Nothing they did could show them why I worked, and none of their other many attempts did so. They began to argue, and eventually came to blows over this enigma. They all died.
From the destruction, I managed to salvage several of their inventions that were designed for my use. A set of wings to attach to my shoulders, an alternate power-source to strengthen the disruptive field around my hands and feet, and the weapon the best scientists in the conglomeration designed - a board that amplifies and alters the properties of sound that echoes across it: all equipment that I continue to use to this day, altered as it may be. In any case, no sooner had I acquired my new possessions, then the station I was inhabiting began to break apart - at least that's what the alarms told me. I didn't stay to find out, instead leaving to find somewhere else to call my home. I wandered from one planetary system to the next for quite some time, finding dissatisfaction and warlike people everywhere I went. Eventually I heard of a 'spacial disturbance' from a group of researchers that were on their way to investigate it. I decided to accompany them. I'm not sure what actually happened there, but the last thing that Operations Unit 02 remembers about the event is seeing a discoloration in one area and then everything blacking out.
Togashi awoke on a mountain slope. I wasn't sure when or where I was. All I knew was that I was strong, and that I had rights to anything I wanted. I was a child of the Sun and Moon, I was everything. Well... others didn't really agree with me, and problems erupted. My children, the volumous Dragon clan, said a trial was in order to prove my identity. Seems that several of them 'saw' me die, and didn't believe I had returned. I agreed. So I set out to find the Sword and Mirror of Amaterasu, my mother. The story of how I found them is one for the ages, perhaps, but here is not the place for it. I returned with my new ally, the Dark at the Beginning of the World. I kept it hidden within, strengthening our connection as my power grew. I did not go back to my children. Instead, I returned to the Dark Place between the worlds.
Jack Rabbit remembers finding himself drifting down a river, headed out to the Nyr Dyv. I wasn't sure what had happened, musta been in a fight and got knocked out. In any case, I needed to get out of the river and oil my gear before it rusted. So I dragged myself out, and did just that. Luckily, the magic cloak I was keeping my weapons in kept them from getting too bad. The biggest problem was my mask and the tubes attached to me - they weren't in good shape. I needed to find somewhere I could get some resources to patch them back together, and somewhere isolated to do it. I found my way to a gnomish town in the hills, and got just what I needed. Unfortunately, I didn't have any money on me, so I had to do some odd-jobs for them in exchange. They had a bit of a kobald problem, so I took care of that. Well, you know how one thing tends to lead to another - I took a few more 'adventuring' type jobs, and got some nifty new equipment in the process. In the end, I found some ancient ruins and a malfunctioning magical gateway...
Palnathia found herself awakening to the rising moon, in a primeval forest. I could hear the howl of wild animals in the distance, and soon heard them coming closer. I knew that my defenses would not long keep me from the fangs and claws of those horrid beasts, and so I began to move - knowing that the cursed beasts would take longer to attack a moving target. Once more I wished to know a world that was at peace, to not fear every night for my life and soul, running from the lycanthropic killers that control the dark corners of the world. My only wish was that it were possible to end the cycle, as those like me who succeeded at surviving their attacks night after night inevitably become converted into the beasts we fought. But for the time being, I ran. Lost in thought, I hardly noticed that the sounds stopped. They had caught me, I realized moments too late. The next night, I joined the hunters, instead of the hunted. I'd rather not talk about that portion of my life, as I caused a lot of terror and problems for many people. I rediscovered the ally I made in the Dark, and stopped the cycle of anger and strife forever. Doing so left me in a void, both physically and spiritually. I needed a new perspective.
When I awoke, it seemed like I was waking from a dream. Vision swam through my head - memories of four lives, all seperately intact but at the same time all mine. I was in a bed, a nice bed. The sky was blue outside, and a light breeze was blowing. As I sat up, I realized that a stone was affixed to my forehead. A man came sofly into the room, and he told me of what I was. He told me I was a spirit of strife, born to wander the earth and cause harm to those I found. He said I had been born four times already, and that my enlightenment was at hand - the time I would choose for myself what my purpose was to be. I spent many days there, at that temple, learning about myself, and what role I could take in the worlds' progress. The bodhisattvas taught me much about everything there. When the day came for me to leave, they presented me with a gift before I made my decision. They told me the gem affixed into my forehead would be with me forever, as it was mine before I ever came into being and then they presented me with a choker promised to aid me with normal people, something that my nature presented as a problem for me. Then it came time to choose my path.
I chose all right. I sided with my lone true ally, the Darkness before Time. I gave the monks the freedom they saught, something they could never attain on their own so long as they desired it. I unmade their temple and the entire world that revolved around it. I then sought another world to investigate, knowing now that I would not forget myself in my new life, I will never again lose who I am and what I must do.
I did find a new world to incorporate myself into. I found a world of domination and military law. I became an agent of the Imperium, an enforcer for Lord Nutkin the Destroyer. I was at the frontline of battles on many worlds, expanding his empire. The only opponent I ever had difficulty defeating was something called an 'Earthwalking Demon' by the others I fought with. He was far more dangerous and combatative than anyone or anything else I had ever yet encountered. I was told that this creature was but one of an entire race of such creatures. Therefore, I went to investigate the age-old war I was told their race participated in. One path leads to another, and I found myself a participant in the war of Blood. I have found a useful ally in one demon who identifies himself as Abduxeul. He understands this conflict well, and I will follow his battle plans for a time, to further investigate both of these fiendish races that participate in this unending war.

“An Alliance,” a voice boomed out of the utter darkness. “That’s a new one. Few creatures know how to find me. Only a few of those few actually make it to my realm. And only a few of those live long enough to communicate with someone of even minute power.” There is a brief silence before Abduxeul’s commanding voice can be heard from behind you now. “So, to say that a few people have been in my presence without my summoning them is grossly over-estimating that number.” Another brief silence breaks his speech, before, “Now you, being one of very… few, who has sought me out and actually found me, has the BALLS,” as he says this, you feel a wracking pain as something grabs your testicles and squeezes to the point that you are sure they have been crushed to oblivion, “to ask for an alliance!” His voice is still far away but coming from a different direction. The pain searing through your body doesn’t prevent you from moving, but the grip is like a vice. Next to your left ear, a beautifully seductive female voice speaks, “I like that in a man.” Just then the darkness from the room lifts and Abduxeul sits on a throne made from the wood of Mezocane. Standing next to you, still holding your very sore family jewels, is a stunningly beautiful female. After looking at her for few moments, you notice that she is a Ghaele. She is wearing very little over her perfectly toned porcelain body. Jet black hair hangs down over her face and nearly conceals the black spiked collar around her neck. Abduxeul’s shouts in a slightly amused tone, “Lexi, come!” With that, the lethal beauty licks your face, releases your genitals, and struts over to Abduxeul’s throne to take her place at his feet. “Fortunately for you, Lexi thinks you have a nice ass.” He pauses as if contemplating something. “Fine. I agree to your alliance. Just don’t do anything to make me regret it. Now I suggest you leave before I get jealous of the way Lexi is staring at you and show you just how kinky I can get.” As you make you way to the door as fast as your aching body will let you, the Lord yell out, “One more thing.” As you turn to look at him, he covers the distance from his throne to you in the blink of an eye and strikes you in the forehead with the palm of his hand. This sends you flying out of the room. The gem in your head feels different now. You reach to feel it and it feels fractured, but you feel no loss of its power. In fact feels like some new power is emanating from it.
