Nakashima, following the lead of the others, jumps (
14+13=27) a fair distance into a tree, hiding (
14+7=21) himself as best as he is able.
It isn't long before his own eyes and ears (
Spot: 19; Listen: 18) see and hear what his two new teammates can detect with their extraordinary senses.
Coming from the south are heavy, heavy footsteps... something large is coming through the forest at a uncaring pace. Deadwood is snapping, tree branches are shaking, and a bit further off is an animalistic scream that sounds very much like an enraged monkey.
Within the span of a quick breath, the break in the trees gives way to the most enormous man any of you have ever seen. Seven feet tall at least, with shoulders so broad you could easily sit up there with three of your friends if this man-behemoth would let you. From the rest of the man's build, there isn't any doubt in any one of your minds that he could do it if he wanted to. His physique is herculean, every muscle worked to perfection, his body so large, his clothes are barely fitting him. Or that would be so... if he weren't badly injured.
Indeed, the manner of dress that he's chosen is not only sweaty from the long run, but where it is not straining to keep his muscles from popping out of his body, it is tattered and bloody. He wears no shoes, and you get the feeling that a cobbler would either enjoy the challenge, or go into a corner to cry upon seeing the size of his feet; now, those same feet are calloused and visibly throbbing. He wears a simple pair of green shorts, torn at the knees either by choice or by necessity, that are badly scraped and do nothing to hide the blood or bruising on his legs. The only thing holding them up is a large white rope belt, tied in the back, and horribly tattered. It looks as though it could fall apart at any second, and has definitely seen better days. Tucked in between rope and skin are two sai, which look to be the gardening variety, not the normal kind used for fighting.
The man has no shirt, possibly to better show off his abs and chest - and chest wounds - but torn to almost literal shreds is a black jacket, the left arm extremely bloody... and tied off at the elbow. It definately seems that the missing part of this stranger's left arm is causing him the most pain, and indeed, his shaggy face is very strained. Right at the chin, there is no hair, but from where the ends of the lips begin to the top of his clawed and battered face, mutton chops meet and greet his dark black hair, and do nothing to ease the worry or pain that you wouldn't have to be a ninja to see.
But it would take a ninja to recognize the forehead protector holding up his sweaty, bloody hair. On it is the symbol for 'Ash', which means that whoever this bruised and broken man is, he comes from Haigakure, the Village Hidden in the Ashes.
He looks back behind him as he gets closer to the grove that hides the village, and because of his worried peek behind his person, he rushes foolishly blind, and suffers the consequences... A root growing from the ground hooks his unshod foot and causes him at first to stumble, but whether through exhaustion or because he is holding on so tightly to the large scroll in his right arm, he cannot keep his balance and falls face first, right into the clearing between the trees.
Kenma, of course, sees none of this. He only hears the stumbling and the breathing, and something hard hitting the earth. Neither he nor Shinku can sense any chakra in the man at all. Either it's being suppressed with an unreal amount of skill, has, more likely, been all used up, or... he had none to begin with.
The screams become louder, and four beasts, their fangs wide, their eyes mad, and their chakra flaring for those who can see it, hop from tree to tree and screech even louder when they spy the man has fallen and is struggling to get up; desperately trying to rise with the bloody stump of his left arm without letting go of the scroll.
The Saru-kami, these monkey spirits, are not all that large, especially not in comparison to the mountain of a man that came before them... but each of them appears to be in a rage, making them dangerous. And the one in the back, the one screeching the loudest, brandishes a bloody blade in one hand.
The three in the lead jump down from the trees, two jumping to either side of the man, and the third landing right on top of him, pushing him back to the ground. In glee, they begin to beat their chests and dance around the battered man wildly, the one on top delivering solid kicks to the back of the man's spine every few seconds.
And then, they fall silent.
The one with the sword creeps closer, and grins menacingly, looking down at the man. Oddly, and with frequent animal cries, it speaks,
"You think, yeehangh, that Kanshusaru, the great Sento Kong, the - yee-yee-yee - Teio Gorira, would allow this? It ends, human. Ends now, yeehangh!"With that, the sword, brimming with chakra itself, is lowered slowly to the man's neck, as the Saru-Kami takes aim for the final blow.

(OOC: Knowledge Geography to know where Haigakure is in relation to Yuugukure. You now have a choice. But I'm not going to tell you what it is.
Kenma has no problem seeing the Saru-kami now. Shinku is seeing them twice - once in Obagekan vision, and once in real world vision.

"Twelve Dragons" is a rough idea of what
the Saru-Kami look like. Each one is only about 4 & 1/2 feet tall when standing fully erect, and roughly 3 feet when hunched over.)
