Well, we might as well talk a bit about some of your favorite experiences within an FF game.
...or, at least, that's what this topic is about after some one has helped me out, lol. I've got my hands on FF12 right now, and I'm trying to remember all the locations of the 'DON'T OPEN' chests. I remember one is in the starting city, but I forget where the other two are.
Someone with the guide help me out, please?
Oh, and so that this remains on topic: I'm loving the idea that there will be an FFTactics Advance 2 for the DS. Every single minute of FFTA was complete and total win for me. And then it got BETTER as the game went on. I remember sending out just ONE of my clan members at a time, and STILL winning without any problems.
Also, FF X when you finally fight Sin was a good feeling.

The chests are in the following locations
Just outside of the old mans place in the sewers (I cant think of his name and dont have my guide on me and cant find daves)
One in the lower part of the palace thingy when you break into the party. I cant remember exactly which one, so it may be best to avoid them all.
The three in the little side room just after you get your equipment back after starting your escape from that place where you got sent after getting arrested.
The 15 on the beach in the Phon coast.
I will update this with more exact info once get my hands on a guide.

-The single chest that is across from Old Dalan's home in the Lowtown Rabanastre -The 2 chests that are in the southeast corner of the cellers in the Royal Palace of Rabanastre -The 3 chests that are in the Confiscatory room in the Nalbina Dungeons (where you get your equipment back) -The 16 chests that form a square in the Vaddu Strand of the Phon Coast
there you go. a more concise listing. Enjoy.

Favorite FF experiences? DM'ing a FF game was fun ;D
On a more serious note though, beating Yiazmat in 12 was enjoyable (as was Omega mk.12). That was a fun fight, seeing Ruby Weapon ran out of MP through the use of elixir + mime materia in 7 was also quite enjoyable. I would have to say beating Omega Weapon in 8 without the whole "Holy War" trick was also quite a blast.
Hmmm, only other really notable experiences... FF11's storylines (yes, plural, there are currently 11 available to choose from with the expansions) and each one is pretty damn epic. Going to a city that floats in the sky, an underwater paradise trapped in a "erratic timezone", and even journeying into the "Dark side of the world" to rescue the spirit of your greatest enemy (cause he isn't REALLY a bad guy, he has his reasons for becoming so evil) from eternal damnation... Yeah, I definately rank FF11 up near the top as far experiences, it's just so rewarding to get those beautifully done cutscenes.

Nothing to do with the chests. Just commenting on the fact that beating sin was like a milestone in my life.

Sorry, but hitting the 999 damage cap in FFT (the good, real one) with just my bare fists was a blast. Yeah, that was per fist, not together...
Other than that, seeing Kefka succeed at his world-shaking ambitions was amazing. That was the best villain I've ever seen, 'cause his entire motivation was to totally fuck with everything to attain ultimate power. And when he gets it, what does he do? He messes with people using it - not runs everything, just terrorizes the populace. Now that rocked.

I have to agree with Dave here. Though I have yet to reach the max damage per fist yet... I'm working on it. I actually started playing FFT again and I've gotten farther than I have before, but I'm running into a problem with what I will do when I start getting the unique characters. Damn having a max party size of 16! Also, the original FFT is the true good one. I don't care how much you liked FFTA, it was a cheap knockoff of the real one. Don't get me wrong, it was an interesting game, but it pales in comparison to the real thing. btw, they actually ported FFT to the PSP and added in anime/cell-shaded style cut-scenes. And the English version even has voice-acting (Japanese one doesn't). I really want it, but sadly no PSP or money to go about getting one
