For Reth'Noctis and Clearstrike: You continue to follow the two half-orcs and they seem to stop at one section, and another approaches, nodding at the two as they take up a triangular sort of position, backs to eachother, each lazily talking and discussing random things as they watch down the three way juncture in the sewer. ——————————————————————
For Dakavar and Sochur: General Homam shakes his head slowly. "Sorry, any images I could conjure of her would be out of date. Just trust your own senses, you'll not be able to miss her. She is, afterall, a princess." He nods silently to himself more than anyone else. "As far as mental protection I'm sorry, I can't spare any. I would suggest you go and seek other means of acquiring it. To spare any of my supplies might costly dearly in a surprise Aun'el raid." He sets a seperate bag of gold in front of both of you on the table. "So are you in?" He slides the bags back towards himself, "or not?" ——————————————————————
For Riot and Moriarti: You guys are kind of doing your own thing, lemme know if anything happens.

Meanwhile, at Moriarti's place...
Isaac sat at the table for a few moments. He tapped his head a few times. Think think think... Why aren't I thinking of anything!? "Hmm.... Well, we might as well start gathering info on the general. I know, or at least I'm sure I know, that he has a tendency to run his operations down in the sewers, but we need a way to find him down there. And I certainly don't know my way around those tunnels." The merc fumbled about in his pockets and pulled out a pack of cigarettes, about to light one up. "Do you mind?"

"Not at all, although you realize that if nothing else kills you first, those things'll be the death of you." Sitting back in his chair he drains another shot of alcohol. "And I agree that we should start gathering some information. If you want, I could go explore the sewers..I doubt anyone would see me.. but I also doubt that I would find him, if he is as good as you think. Perhaps we should start with this Lossterat that you seem to work for, and see what contacts he, or she, may be able to set us up with."

Just as a boost for my game. Here's a picture of what Princess Adashara, or "#10: Adashara the Watcher" of the Ethereals, looks like in her Aun'el Ethereal Regalia (With her #1 henchman, Ovjace):

Thinking for a few moments he finally gets restless. "OK well you go get ahold of your contacts with Lossterat. See what we can find out, or who they might be able to put you into contact with that might know. For me, I'm going to go do some information gathering of my own. We'll meet back here in, say, 24 hours? Don't come here if you think you are being followed. If you KNOW you are being followed send a message here first, give the message time to make it to me, and then come along.. i'll have some surprises set up for whoever is following you. I'll do the same thing. If we lose contact with each other, make sure Lossterat has some way to contact you and I'll make contact with her. That all sound good to you?" Standing up he looks expectantly at Riot, waiting for a confirmation, or really any response, wanting to make sure their plan is confirmed before he takes his jaunt around the sewers.

The merc nodded as he lit up the cigarette. "Lemme see what I can do without Lossterat's help. I doubt she really trusts me much at this point. I'll see if I can find somebody who knows how to either get in touch with our general or how to get to him. Somebody out here knows. Can't be impossible to find them." With that, Riot stood up from his chair and headed for the door. "Here by this time tomorrow? Shouldn't be too hard. Try not to get killed, partner." He leaves at this point and begins searching for information.
[gather info 26 and knowledge local 27 to find somebody who can get us to the General without notifying the Church.]

"Yes, well try not to get caught by the church." Stepping outside he makes his way to a sewer entrance and enters.
[Hide 35, Move Silently 32, I cast Ghost Light, which creates 60 feet of light that only myself (Or max as hes my only current ally..if he happens to wander into the sewers) can see. I will begin searching around the sewers, probably mapping them out as I go so as to not get lost. 25 Search. And, as a note, Im invisible to Dark vision.]

Yall ready for a behemoth post? Heh, you guys aren't even on Chapter 2 yet either, inspiring no? Oh and anyone reading this who isn't a player who wants in. Go make a character, this is still an open game, you'll just need to get worked so be patient. Go DM Go!Excerpt #2 from the Journal of a Nameless Scholar: ——————————————————————
For Riot: You recall (knowledge Local) that you know of a soldier who, during the 12 Hour War, fought alongside Homam and who lives today in a rundown house in the city. Talking with him might yield some results. The veteran soldier's name is Gabriel Flint and you vaguely remember him being a low ranked soldier. A private who no one really respected and many accused of only surviving by fleeing. You, however, remember distinctly witnessing him fighting to help others escape as well. The memory of the battle draws a long drag from your cigarette to gently ease the memory away again. You also know that if you wander the sewers for a while you're bound to run into one of the Guerilla squads that act as sentries for their resistance movement. Other than that, you can't think of many ways to get to Homam that don't involve some sort of divination powers. Your (gather information) thoughts of asking tavern-goers questions seems like a bad idea... as it may involve the Aun'el finding out rather easily for your likings (A single overheard question could land you in a heap of trouble if it concerned Homam). ——————————————————————
For Reth'Noctis and Clearstrike: After what feels like far too much waiting, far too much bantering, and far too little progress... one of the guards depart with a quick salute to his comrades. He walks off towards one of the exits of the sewers, and begins to climb the ladder up (Bear in mind this is well away from the other guards and around a few bends.) The other two guards remain and you both suspect they have been stationed for a night shift of sorts and are unlikely to do anything but patrol certain passages every so often. The guard that left you both learned was named: "Gruht (pronounced Groot)" and you can see he isn't exactly quick witted. However, at one point he did shake a bag of objects that caught your attention, claiming it to be "Important to 'Bleak' and his plans." He still has the bag on him and is currently climbing up a ladder into a middle-class section of town even though it's clear he'd be a poor-class at best. ——————————————————————
For Moriarti: You creep along and hear a voice in the midst of the passage that "T" sections with yours (they're the stem of the T) speaking in abyssal loudly and angrily to three others who each look as disturbing as it does. "These -(there is no common tongue equivalent to the utterly profane, slandrous, hideous, and evil curse it uses that is barely one inflection of a syllable away from being a Dark Speech word)-. They KNOW[/u] what they just sat on and yet here they are being cautious like children with a razorblade. Ignorant, cowardly bastards who fear the power they have stumbled on. So many EENs buried here, so much power!!!!!!" It angrily punches a wall leaving a large scorch mark. "Efiriah, Gordeus, Zuriel, go. Go and find the entrances to Hijaz. The Nightmare worshippers guise it under the name of SubTerra." Getting a glance at them, the four figures appear as thus: The speaker is a tall, gaunt, coal-black humanoid, flickering with a blue-white flame revealing only two bright yellows the glimmer with an absolute hatred and menace are visible. One is a creature that seems to be a formless cloud of darkness, broken only by two pinpoints of a glowing red. A breeze blows towards it as though it devours the air around it. Another associate appears as a nearly 8 foot tall shape of blue-black ice. Spines form ridges along it's humanoid body and cold blue light leaks from it's eyes, mouth, and all the other joints of it's glistening black form. It's powerfully muscled arms clench and unclench repeatedly with a sickening ice cracking noise as it's jaws gnash with the sound of crunching snow. The water around it seems to lower in level, as though it is drained by the monster's presence. The last creature present appears in a small cloud of dust that seems to stay around it, every effort to shake it away only replenishing the dust lost with more from it's own, statue-like body that appears to be eroded and crumbling like an ancient statue exposed to the elements for too long. The fiery creature seems to have calmed for the moment and the other three seemingly vanish into the walls or similarly disappear into impossible places. The remaining one turns and looks in your direction as though unsure of having heard something. (Knowledge Planes or Knowledge Religion, or combine them both if you have neither to recognize any of the four. One roll for all four since they are mostly the same creatures) ——————————————————————
For Dakavar and Sochur: I'm not really sure what to do for you guys, since I haven't heard from both of you and would hate to send you on your way with any additional questions unanswered or rolls not given. If that is the case however, he gives you the promised gold and you are whisked away through a network of secret passages so quickly that you're not quite sure how you ended up on the streets near a tavern so quickly. From here the decision is yours to make as to what you do or where you go. You highly suspect magic was involved with your arrival as no one even seems to notice two random individuals almost spontaneously appearing on the street.

I follow after Gruht, sliding along through the walls. As he begins to climb this ladder, my springwall goes up, blocking the passage behind him. I then attack him, using the Flashing Sun maneuver.
I make sure I'm in Assassin's Stance first, then: Attacks(he's flat footed, 'cause he hasn't gone or seen me - and these ignore armor and shields): 7+9=16, 14+9=23 Damage for each is: 1d4+3d6+6

The Red Riot pondered as he smoked and walked around. Oh yeah, that guy... Forgot about Flint. Wandering the sewers could land me in trouble, what with Homam's patrols going around. 'Shoot first, questions later' after all. But seeing Flint, if I can find him, would be a good start. He might have an idea what the good general is up to. With that, Issac finished his smoke. He dropped it to the ground and stepped on the remains of his cigarette, putting out what fire remained in it. With a smirk on his face, the merc walked on, hoping to locate Private Flint.
When he wobbled a little bit in his walking, Riot remembered that, in fact, he had been drinking a good bit. "Fuck... I knew I forgot something. Better go get some water before a hangover kicks in..." With that in mind, the man located some water and then started on his way towards his old comrade.
[ooc] If it is still night, I wait until morning (and a reasonable time) before approaching Private Flint, as it would be quite rude to knock on his door late in the night. [/ooc]

Clearstrike creeps after Gruht, staying as stealthy as possible. As Gruht turns a corner, clearstrike moves up to that corner and peaks around waiting to see what he does next. Clearstrike keeps this strategy up until Gruht reaches and starts to climb the ladder. His senses heighten as moves in for the kill. His body vanishes from sight while he turns the corner and moves directly for Gruht. Pin-pointing exactly where his axe will cleave into Gruht's flesh, he raises it above his head in order to gain more power from the weight of the deadly instrument. When he is within striking distance, he sets his stance and attacks with the weapon simultaneously to deal the most damage possible. His strike is aimed at the collar bone and is to follow through to the hip. Trying not to damage the bag or its contents through all this.
[ooc] 23 hide and 34 move silently, I use cloak of deception to make myself invisible as I move 30 ft to get to him and full power attack with a Ruby Nightmare Blade in punishing stance, (my concentration check must hit his AC in order to double my damage) concentration 12+16=28 and attack roll 18+6=24 against his flat-footed AC, damage (1d12+1d6+24)x2 [ooc]

For Clearstrike and Reth'Noctis: Gruht falls from the ladder in truly unnerving spray of gore as both blows strike him near simultaneously. A sound almost like a whimper barely has time to be drowned into a gurgle as he expires. The blood rapidly pools around the pieces of the half-orc despite the flow of the sewer. Assuming you both loot him... His armor is unsalvageable and his weapon and shield appear to be standard issue, not worth much at all. He has a small sachel of gold coins (142gp) and a small keepsake (a silver watch) on his person that you're unsure of how much it would sell for (appraise check DC18, if made, sells for 100gp, if failed: 60gp). The bag he had jingled previously contains a large collection of falsified Aun'el identification tags for the various Castes although most are for the Gray Caste. There is nothing else of value on the dead Half-Orc —————————————————————— For Riot: It is indeed late at night, however upon nearing the house you can see there are some lights lit through the windows. You also hear some faint noises coming from within. (Listen Check)

"Reth'Noctis, it is good to see that I was not alone." Then, in a completely casual manner, Clearstrike cuts Gruht's head off with one powerful blow. He then takes the head and puts it in a bag and secures it to his belt. "Who says you can not get answers from the dead." he then picks ups the bag of fake ID's, "Do you want to deal with this or should I?"

Reth'Noctis nods at his ally, "You take care of it, High Hunter Clearstrike. I am anxious to find out what 'Bleak' and 'Lossterat' refer to. If you hear of them, let me know."
