For generic information, your level will be 8 if you start allied with the Aun'el and with an additional 8,000 GP (in addition to standard starting GP of 27,000 so 35,000) from equipment provided and supplies from the Aun'el. If you are opposed to the Aun'el you will be level 10 and with standard starting gold (49,000). All books, classes, races, and etc. are acceptable pending final inspection and etc. Legacy Weapons are authorized and backstories are encouraged (feel free to ask specific questions pertinent to backstories or to help generate them). Private Messages (PMs) or IMs can be used to contact me with specific questions or requests you may have. With that in mind here is some of the backstory, information, and general all in all facts towards the game.
Abilities are rolled as 4d6, reroll ones, drop lowest. Roll 7 stats. Roll 2 blocks of stats. Take only one. Hitpoints are maximum first level and reroll ones. Alignment can be any you want, and it should be noted that this game can be very Player Vs. Player if someone works for the Aun'el and another person doesn't. I'll let you all decide what kind of party mechanic you want, if any.

Beliefs of the Greater Good:
-We must act as one 'lest we perish alone.
-There is no ally of sentience that refuses to recognize the Greater Good.
-All enemies of the Greater Good have been given their chance. Show them no mercy.
-When all foes to peace, sentience, and unity are gone tranquility will rule the universe.
-Dying for the Greater Good is better than living for yourself.
-The Greater Good is the removal of the savage, the destruction of the chaotic, the annihilation of the evil, the enlightenment of the uneducated, the unity of all sentient beings, the tranquility of peace.
-The Greater Good prospers not in the mind, but the heart of the righteous.
-Do not pardon, do not offer second chances, do not sully the Greater Good with the presence of the uncertain.

-Rejecting the Greater Good from within is a crime more unforgiveable than any known and will be punished as such.
Domains offered by Aun'el: Liberation, Glory, Purification (all Complete Divine), Good, Strength, Law (all PHB)
Suggested Languages: Draconic, Infernal, Abyssal, Celestial, Quori, and Undercommon. I won't say which are the most important, but I will say that you won't need alot of the others like Terran, Ignan, Giant, etc. You can still take them, and they will still have a use I'm sure, but some of the languages above will no doubt see the most use.
Allied Plane: The ethergaunts have, in a mysterious move allied with Aun'el, the aloof and genocidal race works upon the ethereal plane under the direct command of Shaserra Kais, whom they have accepted as one of their own, and accepted Aun'el as their race's God in a most unusual move. (See Fiend Folio for more information on Ethergaunts if required)
Random Facts and Information:
----The Aun'el appeared with the appearance of a mysterious purplish/reddish/blueish (it varies in hues and shades) star that natives of the area referred to as the Day Star, it brought with it nightmarish creatures no one had ever seen before and transformed the landscape into what it is now in the East, odds are good you were a little young when it all first happened. The Aun'el arrived seemingly from nowhere, uniting any fractious clans and kingdoms they could under one banner and claimed the Day Star was a holy sign that the time for Aun'el to rise and destroy the evil that was being sent to the world was nigh. With that, many skeptics claimed that Aun'el Shi'Ores was actually just the god-ruler of the evil things that had come with the Day Star, but with no solid evidence and with the threat all but destroyed under the "Greater Good" which, to the chagrin and dismay of nonbelievers, was indeed, a greater good, the idea that Aun'el Shi'Ores was evil somewhat died in the Eastern lands. With the religion having gained so much power and leverage though, the crusade moved, apparently Aun'el Shi'Ores had sent a vision to two men, Mont'Ka and Kauyon, that the Day Star was more than just a local phenomenon. So the Church of Aun'el gathered any faithful and led a great Exodus claiming to need to go and stop the Day Star and it's siblings from destroying the world and the universe itself. They were a lot less forceful while their numbers were still small, however a large number of very prestigious rulers and lords followed them of their own will, joining up and forming some of the higher ups in the ranks. The Inquisition mainly started when they got to the main lands and no one really welcomed or believed them and people tried to go against them or break them from within then the Inquisition was formed to further unify the Aun'el and to snuff out other religious beliefs. They went to the mainland and that's when their inquisition and other things were developed and fully took root in their caste system. Several powerful lords rallied their nations (which aren't all that big due to the constraints of terrain and etc.) in the east to follow the Aun'el after witnessing the calamities of the Day Star they then left to see if it had befallen the rest of the world heading to the main lands (which are where my game takes place). Once there, in response to a barrage of disbelief, lack of evidence to support this theory about a "Day Star" and other such things, they locked pressed the Inquisition to greater action, and with the might of the various lords and nations from the East backing them and the number of people converting to a cause that preaches tranquility and happiness at the end of it's work which is only the elimination of evil, they've grown in size and strength to be quite the ideal religious crusade.
----O' prefacing or following something means "Captain, Leader, Commander" or whatnot, usually higher up so like: "Lord" or "King" T'au is usually used for less honored and decorated captains so you'd call the top ranking general "O'" and the captain of your unit T'au so the name Shas'O Kais, his name is actually Kais. Shas is a term for "Superior" or "Divine", essentially, when someone is way beyond you; they get Shas in their title, so his name is actually Supreme Commander Kais. However, if you're going to address him you'd most likely call him "Shas'O" saying: "As you wish Shas'O" would be the same as saying: "As you wish supreme commander.” you don't address the king by his name, you call him "Your Majesty". Most Aun'el have apostrophe separated names it's done to emulate Aun'el Shi'Ores himself.
----They crush all other religions that oppose them. Aun'el grows by leaps and bounds the Fist of Mont'Ka and the Fire Caste are said to be invincible. They defeated the starting city (the capital of its nation) of Asharis in 1 week and they renamed it Tash'n
----Aun'el will accept any (non-savages) that submit to following the greater good. As a note, the Greater Good will accept even evil creatures, provided that they don't cling to their evil ways, so a yugoloth could join the Greater Good, so could a baatezu or tanar'ri the problem is that both the celestials and lower planes creatures have no desire to side with a mortal based organization except that this mortal based organization just made an incredibly unlikely ally a lot more heads are turning now.
----Most nations of the main land have given up, accepting the Aun'el as the superior force on their plane in return for a temporary stay of conversion.
----In a particularly gruesome conflict referred to as "The 12 Hour War" the Fist of Mont'Ka in conjunction with the Ethereals and even rumored to have had Shas'O Kais with them at the time, went and massacred an amassed army of several nations. It took them 12 hours and they'd killed nearly 7,000 soldiers, every last one of the superior officers. Only grunts and the occasional sergeant were left. Several royal lines ended there and then. The beheaded army that remained fell in line with Aun'el. The most frightening part about it all, the reason every other nation has given in: is because the allied nations against the Aun'el, the ones that had massed the army, had declared war on them. Claiming them to be nothing more than a cult of heretics bent on world domination and were insisting that they would slaughter them all through superior military tactics. The Aun'el lost 2 soldiers in the 12 Hour War. Survivors recant tales of fearsome beasts summoned by the Aun'el to distract large bodies of troops and that the strike teams moved with surgical precision, as if knowing every tactic, plan, and idea the enemy came up with before they even did, claiming: "It was as if they'd practiced that very same battle a hundred times over. Every trap they dodged without looking, every ambush they foiled without caution." A few nations cling to independence, but they might as well have already lost since they do nothing to oppose the Aun'el, not even daring to mobilize their troops lest the Church of Aun'el bring it's full power to bear.
