"The simplest method to find any stache this creature may have kept would be for Kir'orr'mok to have it tell us. Less of our precious time and energies would be wasted this way." Vrodash et al turn back to wait next to Kir'orr'mok.

"While that is a good idea, Vrody, the more I think about it, the more I seem to think that Stupidheads like this DO have a small hoard of goodies. Probably from when less skilled people dropped in for dinner." Jed titters at his own joke, and flies down to stand near Kir'orr'mok and Vrodash. "But it is true we'd still have to look for it. And that's work. So let's get this guy dead and kicking, so we can all have a proper talk with it."

Shaking his head to himself, he looks around at the group, who seem to be standing around waiting for Kir'orr'mok to animate the beast. "Yeah, cause that will go over well." he thinks to himself. Shaking his head again he wishes they would hurry up, and considers just heading off to search for the treasure horde himself, knowing he can always just use the shadows to get back to the Necropolis ahead of them....or at least shortly after...

Zoken, who was waiting at the exit of the room (if you could call it that), spoke up. "Treasure? Ask the thing itself. With that one spell that lets you talk with the dead. That should be quick and simple. I believe at least one of you clerics can use that spell. So hurry it up."

Rolling his eyes he sighs and speaks up from his position off ahead of the party."You mean you can speak to this thing without taking the time to animate it? Then can we do that and hurry this along? Just ask it where its treasure is, and then we'll take the body back to get reanimated later." after which he goes back silent, melding with the shadows, continuing to wait, and getting fairly impatient.

Corruth scowled and stepped over to the corpse. He made an intricate hand gesture, ending with a gentle poke to the dragon's body. "Where is your horde, Dragon? Speak."
The corpse resists the effects of the spell.

When the creature doesn't answer after the casting of the spell, Shadow shakes his head, turning and beginning to walk off down the tunnel. Stopping for a second he turns his head, calling back down the hall. "Well, you all enjoy standing around not talking to a corpse. I'll see you back at the Necropolis after I find the treasure." With that he plods silently down the hall, searching every nook and cranny he comes to, trying to figure out where the creature would have kept its horde of treasure. "Patience Djosier, I mean Shadow. What big hurry are you in? You can't be scared and if we are attacked then we will be ridding Vrtra's territory of another unwanted creature. Besides, it has only been a minute or two. Are you not disciplined enough to stay in one place for that long?" The nezumi shakes his head in disapproval and walks to the head of the dragon. "I can animate the corpse here but it will take an hour. My suggestion is while I am casting the spell, those who wish may aid our impatient companion in searching for the treasure. If it is not found in an hour them I will ask it myself and it WILL respond. Does this sound reasonable?"
[ooc] Sorry Nick. I had to. [ooc]

"Reasonable? That sounds downright complicated. But it's better then being bored. Come on, Denny, let's look around." Jed cackles and flies around the room in circles. "Wheeeeee!"
"Stop with the circles, hoss, you're making me dizzy."
"Well, that's just silly. You're not dizzy, you're Denny!"
"True, but I'm getting there."
"Getting where?"
"I dunno, but where ever it is, it's making me sick."
Jed stops flying around, floating in place, and looks down at the dagger at his hip. "Can you... can you even..."
"What? Spit it out, hoss."
"Can you even go somewhere without someone carrying you?"
"I don't think so. Let's ask the treasure."
"Treasure? Where?!" Jed peers around the cave.
"Not here. Let's look for it."
"All right. Hey, let's get Shadow to help. He's probably good at this stuff."
"Good idea. Glad I thought of it."
Needless to say, Jed helps Shadow look around.

Corruth sighs, standing lazily near the dragon's corpse. "I really don't feel like looking for treasure right now. Do you need anything before I am forced to start searching, Kir'orr'mok?"

(ooc) Oh I dont mind at all Nate, although the Djosier crack was unneeded. This character is just very disdainful of the magic that most of Vrtra's followers seem to rely on, preferring to rely on his own abilities, wit, and talents to get the job done. So, while he may seem impatient (The circling and commenting on wanting people to hurry up) He could have circled all day for all he really would have cared..... But then when the spell was cast that would supposedly make the creature talk...and the creature didn't talk...well It just went to show that you can't rely on the dead all the time. So he went off in search of the treasure. Kudos to you if you find it first....Otherwise he knows he can get back to the Necropolis on his own Via Shadow Walk (And probably beat you all back if you walk).
Anyway, I just wanted to explain why I did what I did.....Figured it might be a prudent way to get you all to stop making the god damned Djosier cracks all the time.
(/ooc)
Ignoring Kir'Orr'Mok's crack he continues his search, heading in the direction that the creature came from. "Their first attempt fails, he admits its going to take him an HOUR to get any good information from the creature, and then he dares to admonish ME for starting the search...and then immediately tries to tell everyone else to go start searching while he animates the corpse.... What a Hipocrite..Probably going to try to claim it was his idea to start searching when my search turns up the treasure. Next he's going to go off and unleash a heartless on us or something... damned spellcasters.." thinking that to himself he shakes his head and just continues his search.
[ooc] Oh, sorry nate.. had to.. -grins-
Oh, and Ben, you'll still need to make a spot check to see me, vs my hide. I have a feat (Darkstalker) that makes it so that I hide from Blindsight, Blindsense, Tremorsense, and Scent as well as normal vision and darkvision and what not. And I have Hide in plain sight... So yeah..[/ooc]

He places the cloth that was around his head over his eyes, and makes his way down the tunnel to look for the treasure. ((OOC: Flin puts on his Blindfold of True Darkness and starts searching. The actions don't change with the noticing of that feat, just how he does it. And kudos to finding one of the more broken feats for a high powered game such as this...)) (OOC From Nick: Thanks. I enjoy it...And I didn't find it.. Thanks to others for that.)

--->The feat truly is one of the more broken ones, don't worry, it'll get him bit in the ass later when there are people way better than him at hiding who have it.<---
I need to know who all is going with Shadow to search and who isn't.
So far it looks like the search party is: -Shadow -Flin -Jed (kudos to the amazing roleplay btw, not sure how you're keeping it up lol)
If I have not heard any posts in a day or so, this party goes by themselves (GONNA KILL 'EM ALL!! *ahem* sorry, they will survive... hopefully).
Edit from nick: And just as a note, once we get out of sight of the ones who are staying behind, I will stop and let those who seem to be following to help me search know where I am before going back into hiding, not using my Hide in plain sight ability against them. Just to let people know.

The group of 3 proceeds int othe tunnel the Linnorm entered from, finding that while the ceiling is high and wide, the tunnel itself is rather narrow near the bottom. Almost to the degree that it seems to be shaped like a triangle set on it's point. After following it a great distance (around 300 feet long), the ground ends in a sort of cliff. It seems to drop 40 feet at the sheared off edge onto a pathway that goes left for about 80 feet before turning into a steep set of steps that you can't see down from your vantage point, and it proceeds about 30 feet to the right where there is a large stone double door inscribed with dozens of sigils, runes, and has two holes in it (one in each door) about the size around of an arm.
Decipher Script check for the door. It is clearly magical and seems designed to repel most (if not all) forms of unwanted entry. Listen checks as well from the trio.

[ooc]Listen check=12+0=12[/ooc] Seeing the passage ways, Shadow stops for a moment. After glancing around he suddenly closes his eyes. Anyone observant will notice that the crystal that he hangs in the middle of his forehead seems to open, changing to look like what resembles an eye. Standing that way for a good 30 seconds he seems to come back to his senses suddenly, the crystal going dormant again as he opens his eyes. "Looks like what we need to open this door is down the stairs to our left...and that door is RATHER well warded..I wouldn't even begin to think to try opening it with conventional means." With that he hops off the edge (made the 15 jump check) and hits the ground rolling(made the 15 tumble check, which means in total i take 2d6 damage from the fall, which i casually ignore)and then begins silently padding down the left hallway, making his way down the staircase, making sure the other two are following him before realizing the pixie is probably invisible, and then he continues moving forward, no longer caring if the others are following him or not.
