A thin parallel green beam lances out of the darkness surrounding Pierce and attempts to spear him (16+14 = 30 Ranged Touch attack) and Pierce needs to make a DC18 Fortitude Save or die instantly. If he makes the save, he still takes 25 points of damage as the ray tears away some of his life force in an excruciatingly painful manner.
It is now Pierce's turn (if he survives).
DM Edit: As pierce has yet to act since being surprised he is currently Flat-footed as well.

Surprised by the sudden strike from the darkness, Pierce lets out a great roar of defiance, keeping his life for his own [Fort: 14+6=20].
Following the path of the green beam he moves with a purpose, finding Adrammelech at the center of the darkness.
Spikes of energy suddenly strike Adrammelech, [27 damage], they seem to come from Pierce, but he didn't seem to move, and the words he said were uttered almost too quickly to hear. [magic missile]

The "Unknown enemy." draws two weapons and circles the big black sphere, the whips circling lightly , ready to lash out defensively against anything that may try to strike him as he watches to see what happens.
OOC: draws weapons, goes defensive, and circles slowly.

Anastasia moves into a position near Adrammelech and takes a shot with her bow. The shot is aimed at Pierce (14+12 = 26 to hit) and if it connects deals 8 damage.

Next round, Adrammelech scowls and swings his scimitar weaving a foul magic into it as the blade bears down. The strike (16+17 = 33 to hit, 16+17 = 33 to confirm) bears a wicked enchantment on the blade that conjures forth terrifying images forcing a DC20 Will Save, if Pierce fails the save he must make a DC20 Fort Save or die. Success on the Fort Save still confers 11 damage (3d6, 5+5+1). Critical hit damage is (13 +12 +5 [the 5 is ice damage] for a total of 30 damage).
Also, a DC20 Will Save is required due to Dreadful Wrath. Failure indicates Pierce is shaken for 1 minute.

As Anastasia draws back her bow a transluscent tail swings at her, narrowly missing her. Her arrow strikes Pierce squarely in his shoulder, but he does not seem to pay much attention to either it or the woman.
As Adrammelech weaves his dark energies into his blade, Pierce's eye widens in worry. At the last moment his resolve shows through, showing no fear for whatever may be coming at him from this stranger.
[OOC: made both Will Saves, 16+12=28, 8+12=20, I take 25 damage from the critical(the cold seems ineffectual)]
Afterwards, Pierce looks down at the critical blow marring his chest, with his right hand he holds the wound, and with the other he points up and suddenly fires a series of magical bolts from a wand [magic missile: 21 damage]. Then he flings his right hand out again, weaving a spell as his blood flies out. The spell completes as the droplets of blood hit Adremmelch, staining his blue armor with the red of his blood. A sudden wash of suppressing magic comes over the Blue clad caster. [dispel magic: targeted, Defensive Casting: 6+18=24.] But before he has a chance to react, Pierce is already moving away [tumble: 7+8=15, 15+8=23].

The man standing outside the darkness blinks once as he can suddenly see through the darkness, and quickly assess the situation, seeing one cloaked figure with a bow, another standing wearing armor and wielding a sword, and a third wearing robes brandishing a wand. Figuring he can easily take out the two with weapons (His speciality IS disarming) he quickly moves to attempt to box in the robed mage.
In the blink of an eye he has covered 35 ft of space, directly towards Pierce. At the same time he seems to have grown to twice his original size. As he grows his weapons grow with him, and once he stops growing, the whip in his right hand continues to grow. Once he has finished growing, he quickly moves another 35 ft, ending up 25 ft from Pierce, with a whip that seems like it might actually reach that far.
OOC: uses his sandals to move 35 ft as a move action. Standard action he activates the psionic power of Expansion, making himself Large sized. His sizing whip grows as a free action until it is huge (for a final reach of 25 ft on the whip if wielded by a medium sized creature, but him being large(With 10 ft reach) adds an extra 5 to that, for a final total of 30 (Someone correct me if i did that wrong, i think that all works). Then he moves to within 25 ft of pierce.
And yes I realize my map forgot to take into account my own characters movement.. i'll fix that tomorrow.. im a bit tired and frazzled right now.

Anastasia and Adrammelech look to eachother for a moment and then she proceeds to move back to a distance of 25 feet behind (but not being blocked by) Adrammelech. Adrammelech seemingly cracks his neck as though warming up and then goes into intense concentration (DC26 concentration check for casting a spell), after he finishes casting the blue spell there is no visible change at all. He readies his scimitar and takes a slow and careful five foot step forward to place himself within 30 feet of both Pierce and the Newcomer, relying on the newcomer to not wish to waste any opportune attacks on himself (especially since he doesn't even appear to have magical armor since the moment the newcomer can see him!) yet he appears completely defensive, as though he would not join combat and instead merely put himself in a position so that either enemy would have to pass him to reach Anastasia.
[OOC] Nick, I will IM you with what I'm doing after I doublecheck it with you. Therefore, this post is rather tentative as I may not be able to fully do what I had in mind. We'll see.[/OOC]

Current map: The man with a whip (Who is actually wielding Dagger Whips, which it occurs to me i forgot to mention), currently appears to have 25 ft reach and is wielding only a large sized whip (As i was incorrect in thinking that Sizing was a free action).
It is Pierces Turn.

Glancing at Adrammelech, and really not considering him a threat at this point, the strange man wielding the whip suddenly seems to move from his current position, to 25 feet away from Pierce, well within his reach. Quickly drawing another whip from his side, he seems to lay into Pierce with a devastating array of 5 rapid hits, the last of which he attempts to coil around Pierce's leg.
OOC: Swift action to activate his boots and move his move speed (35 ft) instantly.
Full attack against Pierce: Attack 1: 18+14=32 to hit. 13 damage if it hits. Attack 2: 12+14=26 to hit. 9 damage if it hits. Attack 3: 19+9=28 to hit. 10 damage if it hits. Confirm:9+9=18 to confirm. 9 MORE if it confirms. Attack 4: 20+9=29 to hit. 5 Damage if it hits. Confirm: 12+9=21 to hit. 6 MORE if it confirms.
Attack 5 (Extra attack granted from lasher Ability): Wrap Attempt: 13+14=27 Touch. If hits you are wrapped with a whip around your leg and cannot move further away than your current distance.
Pierce is held.
It is now Anastasia's turn, then Adrammelech's

Adrammelech stands slowly, his scimitar quite ready to deflect any whip strikes and then glares angrily up at Pierce (who has been shimmering through reality and rewinding time) and two beams of green energy lance out and connect with him.
DC 19 Fort Save from Pierce. Results will be modified to your post after you make your save so as to avoid you changing your actions again. Nyahaha.
Anastasia simply moves into a position that is approximately 15 feet more than the supposed range (that she can tell) from Whipmonchan. She remains alert and watching but is otherwise in a position to back up Adrammelech if he needs support while watching for interlopers.

Because of random stuff happening and other various things the following is happenening, in this game: My whip whielding lasher (the fighter in Adrammelechs and Pierces Fight) is eliminated from the tournament. All PCs gain 1 point because of the DM making errors. Pierce and Adrammelech are both repositioned on the map and can continue play. (I will post positions in a bit.) Thank you and good day (Everyone else feel free to post whenever you all feel like it.) Pierce will be positioned.......... somewhere near the top right corner of the map (no one knows this but Pierce). Adrammelech (And Anastasia) will find themselves....somewhere in the southeast portion of the map, more south than east. (again no one knows this but anastasia) As stated before my whip wielder is out of the tournament for Illegally taking an AOO which he didnt threaten, and for dealing damage he therefore shouldnt have been able to deal. My bad, sorry i over-looked a rule. The tournament may now continue.
