During a lul in conversation, while he is playing his flute, Jubaul looks around to see how the others are doing. Seeing their female companion is in a dour mood, he unobtrusively falls back next to her. Keeping his voice down (in an ironic sort of way) he asks, "So what's the matter with you today? Can't you see the sun shining and the green growth all around us? Its a fine day to be out." He has a smile on his face, but obviously is concerned with her disposition.

Lorania narrows her eyes at Jubal and looks him up and down. she decides that she will be somewhat honest. "Nobles ain't my folk. Get back up front with Richly McCheerybritches. I'll only bring ya down." she turns her gaze forward, patting her horse and cooing to her.

"Well, I'm not going to try and talk you out of being down if that's what you want. But really, nobles are just like the rest of us, just with, well, more money. If you can look past that, I think you'd get along just fine." He gives her a coy smile and moves back up a little ways, playing his flute.

Sighing at the whole situation he moves forward and pats the calmer horse on the nose, giving it a moment to sniff him and get used to his presence. Looking it up and down he nods, smiling a bit, to see that it is a nice smooth gaited, black Rocky Mountain breed. Obviously trained for war he sees that no one else takes it, so he hops up onto it and takes the reins. With a light sound the horse moves forward with the rest of the group, Freohr easily keeping up, staying close to him, the horse well trained enough to not get spooked by having a wolf so close by.
As they ride he keeps mostly silent, answering the questions with polite, but curt answers. After a while he lets his horse fall back a bit, so he is riding next to Lorania. Smiling as if nothing is amiss, and keeping his usual observant look out of the surroundings, he quietly speaks to her. "You don't seem like you are enjoying yourself. Something seem off to you?"

"What is it with people! I do not find huntin' an' ridin' an' attention an' daylight to be the most amazingly wonderful things in the world and you all sud'nly feel the need ta understand this strange phenomenon? I was s'possed ta have left, but nooooooooooo I didn'..." she grumbles to herself for a bit then turns to Malik, "Why're you here anyway? hmmmm?"

Smiling still he shakes his head. "No need to get upset, I just merely wanted your opinion. If you prefer to be left alone, say so. As for why I am here.... To make sure no animals are hurt that aren't going to be used for food. Hunting for the sake of hunting sickens me.....I also have other reasons for being here, but you don't seem to want to talk." Continuing riding as if nothing is amiss, he looks to the sky, watching the birds as his horse rides along with the rest of the group.

Lorania blinks a bit at his first reason, "Ah, hold up there." she trots her horse in up so that she and Malik are yet again side by side. "I'm, um, vaguely sorry that I snapped. but now I'm curious as to your other reason, please go on."

Speaking in a low voice he continues smiling to keep up the semblance that nothing is wrong. "It just seems to me that this all maybe is a bit too perfect. He was rather insistant that we come along it seemed to me. Nothing supsicious enough to act on....but enough to keep me observant. I thought maybe you might have picked up on that too, but then again it might be me being too paranoid."

Lorania cocks her head to one side and keeps a look of blithe interest on her face, unfortunately the slight crease between her eyebrows gives away her agitation, "I was thinking about that when we first met him, he seemed very... convenient, but when I questioned him he seemed to have viable answers, so I let it go."

Noticing some hushed conversation going on towards the back of the group, Aldern calmly navigates his way back. All smiles, he happily tries to talk with "lady Lorania", but doesn't let anything dampen his mood. After a few quick attempts to strike up a conversation, if he is still met with no results, he returns to the front slightly disappointed.
The rest of the trip passes relatively uneventfully. Your group makes it to the Tickwood, then finds and takes down a boar of decent size. With the assistance of his manservants, Aldern happily prepares the animal for the trip back.
After the initial high from his excitement from the hunt, he again tries to strike up conversation with your group. Upon arrival back to Sandpoint, he invites you all back to the Rusty Dragon to have the boar prepared for his grand meal.

When Ald approaches Lorania attempts to look as bland as possible. Until, of course, he calls her "lady" at which she scowls and answers all his attempts at conversation very curtly or not at all.
She continues to stay at the back of the group during the hunt. for some reason she does not feel like moving herself to assist the the others in their killing games.
To Ald's offer of food, Lorania shrugs. She is already going back to the Rusty Dragon and however much the noble annoys her, she is fine with the free meal. Her mood seems to have softened due to riding. she dismounts a tad stiffly upon reaching the stables.

Cale agrees to go along, curious at Aldern's continued interest in the 'group' of goblin slayers.

Arriving back at the Rusty Dragon, Ameiko happily agrees to cook up a fine meal for you all. Aldern happily orders a round of drinks and his "feast" begins.
The Inn's common room is relatively full, there are a few other patrons eating and conversing around you. There is a man sitting in the corner softly playing a small wood harp.
[ooc] My apologies for the delay, I don't actually have any excuse so I won't bother with one. cOMMUNISM, you can go ahead and interact as you please. [/ooc]

An eloquant and well-spoken gentleman in the corner plays quietly for a few moments before breaking into verse, his fingers strumming melodically on the wood-harp held in his lap. "Money is that which all men obey, the wealthy rich miser doteth upon it, He puts her to trading until such a day, and is very careful in parting from it : It joys him to see a great heap of wealth, and Lady Pecunia is his dear honey, While he is content for to starve himself, ever for the love of Mistress Money" He watches the adventurers entering the Rusty Dragon with their slain boar, offering a wide smile to Lorania as she appears in the tavern. He continues playing as they settle in for dinner.

Lorania flashes the strange bard a bank face, raises a brow, and turns to the bar. "Mead?"
