Lorania comes forward, rolling in an attempt to avoid attacks, and comes to stand between the chanting goblin and Cale. (8+7=15 tumble) she swings at the chanter (2+1=3 to hit) (3+1=4 damage) ... and proceeds to swear profusely

Malik moves around the dead bodies swiftly, moving to just north of the Warchanter, bringing his club to bear on the foul creature.

Lorania's attack misses the Warchanter by a fair margin, however immediately after, Malik's club makes short work of the cackling witch. Jubaul moves forward and slashes at the last remaining goblin with his starknife, but the gangly beast does not fall from the blow. | Round 3: Cale Goblins #1, 2 & 4 Lorania Malik Jubaul

Shaking off his daze, Cale hefts his bastard sword and takes a heavy horizontal swing with it into the last goblin standing in front of him.
Attack... 13 + 6 = 19 to hit Damage... 3 + 5 = 8 damage

The last remaining goblin has little time to react, but its last expression is one of sheer panic as it realizes that it is all alone. Cale's blade quickly releases the creature from its panic.
All around, you can hear the sheer chaos that has befallen Sandpoint. The wicked cackles and high-pitched jeers of goblins mixed with screams of panicking townspeople and the shouting of the town guard mobilizing are easily heard. From your vantage point you can see a bit of what is happening.
Every once in a while you notice a particularly strange sight, proof of the goblins' sheer insanity. One goblin, having climbed up onto a building leaps to land on a victim. However, it misses and breaks its neck when it land on its overly large head. Another goblin throws a torch at a dog but hits another goblin instead, lighting the patchwork armor on fire.
For now though, you have a few moments to catch your breath. Once the coast is clear, Zenovia comes forth from behind the podium to be sure that Jubaul is unhurt.

Moving to meet Zenovia, Jubaul reassures her that he is fine. "I can handle myself, but you need to get to safety. I... there aren't enough people to defend the town, I'm going with these warriors. Get inside the church, and block the doors. Don't let any of them get inside." He hands her his starknife. "Just in case. I hope you won't need it. Now go!" He motions to the nearby building, quickly grabbing his thrown blade from the ground nearby and covering her flight.

Zenovia takes the starknife hesitantly, her worry evident in her expression. But after a few seconds she nods, reassured by Jubaul's certainty and determination. "Be safe," she gives Jubaul a kiss and runs off to the security of the Cathedral.

For just a moment he hesitates, but quickly decides that to the safety of those in the church is more prevalent than his need of his fighting companion at his side in the upcoming battle. Pointing at the church that Zenovia is moving into he looks at Freohr. "Guard." Watching as Freohr moves off, following Zenovia into the church he sighs and slides his club into his belt before he reaches into his pocket for his last three berries, moving over to Cale as he does so. "Here, you look like you could use these. They will help to heal your wounds. We should move soon, find the source of this attack. There has to be some sort of semblance of reason for this."

Nodding to Malik, Jubaul mouths the words "Thank You." He then surveys the chaos around them. "No, I think we'd better just start looking. Reason hardly seems noticeable."

"Goblins," she mutters and nudges a fallen dogsliecer with her booted foot, "ya know I wouldn't mind 'em so much if they weren't always trying ta shank me. So," she looks towards the others, "anybody got a direction?"

Cale sighs at the mess of goblin bodies scattered around now and takes the good berries with a smile, popping them into his mouth one after the next and then giving a nod. "Thanks, appreciated." He takes in his surroundings one more time while the others talk and then adds: "Unfortunately from what I've seen and heard so far, 'reason' does not seem to be an important trait for these goblins..." Cale attempts to again listen for the sounds of the most clamor and activity and then suggests that the new group moves that way to find the source.
If he can't tell a direction he shrugs and asks: "Any ideas? I'd say try and find some of the law enforcement and coordinate our efforts with theirs."

As she is looking around the bodies of the fallen goblins, Lorania notices something on the Warchanter. Looking a bit closer, it seems the Warchanter was carrying a small bag of coins as well as a potion.
Before anyone can take a closer look a closer sound than any of the other shouts catches your attention. You hear a scream and frantic barking coming from north of the festival grounds.

Turning his head in that direction he takes off at a dead run towards the sounds, drawing his club as he goes.

"Hey, or we could follow the screams, that seems like a good idea. All in favor say 'aye'? Aye." and she trots off after Malik
