Jubaul finishes readying himself and his starknives. However, the goblins are crowding heavily and he can't get a good shot. Beric drops his crossbow (putting it away is a move action), and pulls out his harp. His song inspiring your group to do better against the goblin threat. Lorania's attack misses the goblin prancing about on the table. Cale slices easily through the goblin in front of him, but doesn't realize the danger of the crunching glass beneath his feet until after the shards have managed to penetrate the soles of his boots. The goblins continue to retaliate in kind. They start to swarm Lorania and Cale, each of them cackling and shrieking with excitement. Most of them attack with dogslicers, but one of them is wielding a set of tongs dripping with molten glass. The few remaining that can't get into melee continue to throw shards of glass. The one that steps forward in front of Lorania manages to avoid stepping on the glass, but fails to do little else. The goblin with the tongs of glass manages to hit Cale with the burning semi-liquid. Another goblin moves up onto the table and slashes at Lorania, managing to give her a sizable gash. The other goblin on the table does little more than slice at thin air. The goblins throwing the glass shards fail to hit anyone, but the one on the workbench stumbles over the contents and it all spills out around the floor. Cale takes 2 damage (1 from the glass on the ground, 1 from the molten glass), and can only move at half speed. Lorania takes 5 damage from the goblin's dogslicer. | Round 2: Lorania Cale Goblins Jubaul Beric

Jubaul moves up to hold the line next to Cale, and attacks the goblin in front of him. [attack: 20+2=22, confirm 10+2=12] [damage: 1d4{3}+2=5, crit 1d4{3}+2=5]

Cale advances off the molten glass towards the next goblin and swings his bastard, ready to cut another down.
14+6 = 20 to hit 4+5 = 9 damage

"Ion lýg!" Lorania grabs her wound with her free hand and tumbles as best she can under the marble table and comes up on the other side as close as she can to the unopened double-doors. (7+7=14 to tumble)

Jubaul's attack hits with surprising accuracy, but not quite well enough to strike a vital area. The goblin shrieks with pain but remains standing although a bit unsteadily. Beric steps in to the room. Cale strikes down the goblin in front of him with a quick slice and steps forward away from the Caltrops and onto the small tangle of goblin bodies that he has made. Lorania, having waited for an opening, attempts to roll out of the way from the goblin assault. However, she misjudges slightly the situation and leaves an opening for the goblins to take advantage of. The goblin that had been attacked by Jubaul attempts to swing, but it's feeble swing seems to do more damage to itself than it could possibly do to Lorania and it falls unconscious on the table. Another goblin swings and misses, the table it is standing on getting in the way of its strike. Finally the last goblin swings and connects with Lorania's side, and the blow seems too much for her as she falls unconscious. The goblins all cheer with excitement, the furthest one rushes in and strikes at Cale. It seems eager to try and duplicate its companion's success, but to little avail. The other three however start chattering at each other in their own language, they start to laugh and snicker as the group moves over to Lorania. And between the three of them they manage to pick up her and start moving her across the floor. Lorania takes 3 damage from the goblin's dogslicer, followed by 1 point of damage as the goblins unceremoniously drag her through the broken glass. | Round 3: |

Jubaul looks horrified to see what is happening, and steps forward to protect Lorania.
[5ft step, then casts Sanctuary on her, defensively (15+4=19, makes it) - DC 14]

During the middle of a verse, Beric ceases the song and places the woodharp carefully against the wall, drawing his weapon and advancing forward and around the glass to engage the goblins in melee.

Cale takes another swing, a furious expression on his face after seeing Lorania drop and be treated so crudely.
Attack: 19+6=25 to hit (Crit Threat - 10+6=16 to confirm) Damage: 5+5=10 damage (if Crit 5+8+10=23 damage)

Jubaul moves forward and attempts to quickly step forward and cast a spell of protection on Lorania. [ooc]a) there is a table in the way, so it is not quite a five foot step to move in, either you need to climb up onto the table, or squeeze next to it. b) the goblins are already in contact with Lorania, and they don't seem to be trying to directly attack her. If you wish you can choose not to have cast the spell, but I won't wait for an exact response, we'll move forward... Beric drops his harp, draws his sword and moves forward to confront the goblins. Cale strikes down onto the goblin that confronted him, with a fluid strike his sword cleaves through the creature's wiry frame. The goblin hardly has time to let out a shriek before its red eyes fade and gloss over. The other goblins, who had been excitedly carrying Lorania across the room, glance over at their comrade's sudden cry of anguish. Almost as if just realizing that their numbers have been decreasing, the goblins look around in horror. One points at Cale, and shrieks in its guttural language. The other two look and then the three of them scream in terror and begin running away, Lorania still in tow. Jubaul tries to swing out as one moves past, but his swing falls slightly short of hitting the goblin. Almost as an after thought, the goblins drop Lorania as they start to scatter and run in different directions. Lorania fails to stabilize this round, taking another 1 damage. | Round 4: |

[ooc: My apologies for being gone so long. Longer explanation to ensue in another thread. Hoping you are ok with me rejoining ben, and under the assumption that its alright, I'll be posting.]
Having gone on a couple days journey out into the wilderness, the hustle and bustle of 'city life' getting to him a bit much, he starts the day out not too far from town. Following the beach in , he strolls calmly towards town. Getting close to the Glassworks he notices some commotion by the back door. Seeing a group of people move into the building, one of which he recognizes as Cale by the sword he carries, he gets curious and hurries closer. Suddenly hearing the sounds of combat ensue he takes a quick glance around and notices the stairs that lead up to a door in the Glassworks from the beach. Rushing forward he hopes to join battle with the enemies from the back.
(The way I figure, and be perfectly free to tell me I'm wrong if I am, but after hearing the sounds of combat I think I can make it to the back doors on the beach side by the time the current round comes around or somewhere near to it. Let me know. Sorry again for the not being around.)

[ooc] Actually, as the glasswork furnaces are quite loud, it is fairly difficult to hear anything at all going on inside. The goblins have been quite loud for some time now, and the sound of battle isn't much louder comparably. But for the sake of brevity, I will allow it.
Malik was walking on the beach and noticed the group entering the Glassworks. Curious, he approached and when the goblins started to scream particularly loudly (just now) it alerted him to something a bit more and he rushed into action.
I'll count it as having delayed, so Malik will act after the Goblins in the next round, this round he used his action to arrive at the doors at point A18. The Doors are Locked.
The round continues with Jubaul followed by Beric and so forth. [/ooc]

Jubaul and Beric have until late on Sunday/early Monday until I continue and they are left standing around looking like idiots.
This post will be deleted and reposted with action results, before or after Jubaul and Beric have acted based on whether or not they post.

Jubaul runs over to the fallen comrade, a look of worry on his face. "Please be okay." he murmurs under his breath just before chanting a prayer to Desna.

Beric advances cautiously after the goblins, moving past Lorania's prone body and taking up a defensive position as the goblins retreat.
